Dr. Anusuya Jeyakumar, MD

The doctor seems agreeable, she listens to concerns and generally does not rush when seeing patients. Her receptionist however, is awful nearly every time I have call this office, which is too often for my liking. She seem disorganized/forgetful, I've felt gaslit when I call to remind them, they hang up when they feel like it, and something I will not mention here, but I felt it was very negligent. I am made to feel like a nuisance when I simply want to make sure everything is in order, and that I wouldn't have to make yet another phone call in the same week/month. I have always made sure to be polite and thank her regardless, as I know the job is stressful and she is human too, but that is no excuse to treat people this way. Am I the only one who has experienced this with this particular person? Perhaps, but I honestly would not be surprised if the Dr has lost patients due their experience with staff alone. Another thing is, I researched this doctor years ago and saw mixed reviews.… Recently, I noticed she no longer has the older negative reviews on Google. Think what you will, but I believe it is unlikely for all of them to be fake. The most recent was from a few days ago, which is believable to someone who had read countless, clearly bogus reviews all over the net. Regardless of its legitimacy, I foresee it being taken down as well. If you are chronically ill, you will not want to be able to get in touch with the Dr as needed without having to go through hoops. I am not saying I do not recommend this doctor, but make SURE are able to get and stay on the receptionist's good side, or you may not be able to see or talk to the doctor at all even if you are already patient/concerned family. Common sense, but still needs to be said. I hope that helps.

My sister has been calling for WEEKS trying to get in contact with this office. In order to get any information my dad has to SHOW up in person. Especially during the pandemic it is a BAD IDEA for any patient of any age. How careless can this practice be? I can't even send a fax over due to the number not working....

I have been a patient of Dr. Jeyakumar for several years! She is patient, understanding and quite knowledgeable , especially when it comes to elderly patients and their needs! I am 82 yrs "young" and I highly recommend her!

The Doctor is very knowledge able and very experienced in her field. She is very kind and gives enough time to hear the patient
