Dr. Aparna Kanaparthi, MD

I walked out of the appointment stunned by the rudeness of this doctor. She had total disregard for anything I had accomplished with my health and discredited anything that wasn't her idea. She told me to replace the supplements I was taking (with the same thing). I asked her what she would recommend and she said "oh just anything at the pharmacy. She talked down to me as if I had no say in my health, nor would she acknowledge what I'd been through and the journey I took to accomplish good health. When I told her of things she didn't understand or wasn't educated about, she said "I don't know about this". She didn't even know about EDMR, which is a proven PTSD treatment. She basically said just listen to me, without full knowledge of my history, even though while trying to inform her, she just went blank in the face and wanted to move on lecturing me. She makes assumptions regarding health that she is not educated about, but should be. I am an educated 68-year-old woman that works… hard to inform myself of health issues and take great care of myself. You would think she would focus on that rather than criticizing everything that I said to her about my health. I think I could do better on the internet than with this doctor.

Very rude and talks down to you as if you are not educated in medicine as herself. Will not listen to patients and is very confrontational if you don't agree with what she is saying. Did a quick background check on her and she has been working at several places in a short span of time as well as two big hospitals in the area. This should tell you a little about her. Beware!

Basically told me I'm lying about 4 previous Dr.s diagnosis. Will be filing a complaint with my insurance company to NOT SEND ANY MORE MEMBERS TO THIS RUDE QUACK.

Does not believe you have pain, even when you are not seeking pain killers. She accused me of my presumptions, she has the presumptions. I also will not be treated like a liar. She has presumptions that are not good. Believe she will not miss me, she told me that I should be quite and do as the doctors tell me and to have respect for them. My last appointment I went in with an open mind going to give it another chance, but no, I can no longer put up with this.

I appreciate Dr Kanaparthi directness in talking with me. I am always impressed with her knowledge

Terrible doctor!!!!!!!!!!!! Doesn't have a good bedside manner and when asked about my back injury - she basically called me a liar and that I could not have the diagnosis that I gave her. She tries to manipulate everything and wants to control every aspect of your treatments -even when you are treated by specialists in their area. She totally screwed up my diabetes management - my sugar levels before her were 110-below 120. Now I struggle to get below 140s. She doesn't discuss anything about your medication/treatment plan with you-she decides.
