Dr. Armineh Mirzabegian, MD

Dr.Mirzabegian always has the time to answer my questions and has thorough approach to taking care of me as a patient, I have referred my friends and other family members to her.

Dr. Mirzabegian has always been there for me. I have a very rare autoimmune disease and she helped me navigate the way in trying to get a true diagnosis. The first rheumatologist felt there was nothing wrong, so she helped me find a more progressive rheumatologist who quickly diagnosed me. She is always there if you have a question. I am so very lucky to have such a great primary care physician!

Maybe she's changed since then, but I had her as a doctor about ten years ago. After some very bad car accidents (two, with only a few months in between), I became severely limited in functionality due to the amount of pain I was in. This consequently made me depressed. She argued that the physical pain I felt was a side effect of my depression--something that didn't show up for months after the accidents. So she kept forcing and pushing me to go and see a psychiatrist and take anti-depressants (even though it was noted in my chart at the time that anti-depressants cause a paradoxical reaction in me and make me suicidal). I ended up having to drop her. Hopefully she's grown since then, but I doubt it. Mind you, I'd been seeing her for most of my teenage life, and into my early twenties, and until that point, had a fairly good opinion of her. But there are doctors that try, and fail, and then, there's those who fail to try. And she failed to try.

Dr M is thorough, caring and kind.

Dr Mirzabegian is extremely thorough, it is defintely hard to get through to the phones in her practice.
