Dr Sungarian explained what was need to be done .I felt confident in his ability to do the surgery after a doctor at a local hospital refused to do it . Post surgical pain concerns neglected, when addressed after 1 1/2 weeks post op... 3 prescriptions were sent to the wrong Pharmacy twice and office staff refused to listen to concerns. One pharmacy was in Indiana, the other was also a mail order pharmacy that could not deliver the meds for another week! The Dr talks over you when you try to voice your concerns and issues and as the patient you need to frequently remind him about writing the orders ie: follow up xrays, return follow up appointments , prescriptions, suture removal.. ect... Looking for good compassionate and competent care? LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!

My appointment was scheduled quickly and his demeanor was not a problem and I felt comfortable with his knowledge and aptitude but my problem is getting an appointment to have the surgery done. I called several weeks ago and had to leave a voice message with Margie. I have called the office twice because I didn't get a return call and was told it would take 3 or 4 weeks until my name came up on the queu and then they would have to get approval from my insurance. I am in extreme pain and discomfort, have fallen down my stairs twice due to my legs and feet being numb. Does this staff have any decency just letting a patient know they are not forgotten?

Fractured one of my vertebrae and was in horrible pain, meet Dr. Sungarian in the ER and after having surgery I am pain free.

I want to see doctor Sungarian on a referral. I found him to be rude, no bed side manner and very unkept. He was not infested in the medical steps that brought me to his office. I have never felt so insulted and not heard- I walked out! His white dr cost was full of stains and gross. I would never recommend him to anyone. Heading to Boston.

I can only speak about my initial consult for surgery with Dr. S. Others have said he has no compassion. That's not true! He did look at my MRI, He confirmed my Spine & Pain Mngmt specialist's beliefs on what I need to have done. When he told me what surgeries I will be having I started to cry and let me tell you something. He does care, he did take the time to console my feelings and assure me that everything will be alright. It's different to have other good doctors referring you to him and walking in with an MRI to show what you need done. There are far too many people just seeking their next med. fix. If you've done the physical therapy, the steroid injections, and everything else that can be done and it hasn't helped then by all means go see him. If not, I don't blame him for not letting anyone waste his time.
