Dr. Arpenik Avakian, MD

Dr. Avakian is responsible for saving my eye. She did everything in her power to help me and I can't thank her enough. Very knowledgeable and professional, genuine and kind.

Dr Avakian is a wonderful and knowledgeable doctor. I have her as a my eye doctor for many years and always happy with her. She treats me with respect and explains things with patient. Thanks to my dear doctor.

Dr. Avakian is great. Treated diabetic eye bleed with laser surgery and was really nice!!

Not experienced doctor. Had 2 times appointment because I'm pregnant and have problem with eye inside. She said everything good and I can have normal birth for the baby, any risk for me. I find different doctor in Portland and she never see before what she find inside my eye and said only c-section, that's a big risk for my life give normal birth. P.S. not recommend this doctor

Make sure your insurance pays the bill immediately otherwise you'll get a nasty certified letter followed by a call from the collection agency. I have the best insurance in the country and unfortunately it took them a little extra time to get the bill paid but I guess Mrs. Avakian needed that $700.

She is the only Dr. to give me a diagnosis on my condition, what caused it, and what to expect in the future. She was 100% correct on everything she said to expect. All other Doctors just say unspecified visual disturbance. Her bedside manner is amazing. The staff were excellent and assured me I was under the best care available! I currently live in Tx. and have been unable to find adequate care! She is worth the purchase of a plane ticket to see her again, see you soon :)

Suffered primary retinal oclusion of left eye. Was sent to Dr. Avakian by my current Opthamologist.Two office surgical prodedures to reduce pressure resulted on restoration of minor vision. Prescription for two months have now resulted as per my usual Opthamologist to nearly 100% restoration. Dr. Avakian is not good, she is great.

Both my husband & I see Dr. Avakian. She has operated several times on my husband.Each time we see her, she takes the time to explain exactly what the conditions are. Pleasant and very knowledeable: a real treasure!

I think Dr. Avakian is wonderful. She was able to state clearly what the problem was and took the fright out of the situation.She was very conscientious about my condition, watched very closely, and made sure that I knew what I signs I should watch for in case of future problems. She performed laser surgery in an efficient and painless manner. I am now seeiing her for another problem after cataract surgery from another doctor. I would highly recommend her to my family and friends.
