Dr. Brian Arthur Coder, DO

Wow. Where to start. Just moved here and needed to get a pcp established. Husband has tons of medical issues including severe pain. They admitted they thought he was Dr shopping and referred him to pain management place that wasn't even in our network which is useless to us. (We have a ppo). That there is malpractice by state Board standards. Then with MY care nurse waited 3 wks to REQUEST info from previous Dr for a prior auth on an rx then lied to me about it. I didnt get my rx for a month due to this. Then lied to her manager saying she gave me my lab results when I waited for them or over a month after multiple calls I made. I have proof of all of it but even the office manager insinuated I was either forgetful or lying about all of it. Nurse Shelly messed with my health and very unprofessional in the process. If management wants concrete proof of this just let me know. Unless you don't care that your nurses are lying to you and about the patients while showing a lack of care for… them. Very upset patient and sick of it. Just want people to do the right thing.

The doctor is a very good doctor, but the staff is horrible. They are very rude to the patients and act like they are above you. The last few times I have been in I have overheard the staff talking about other patients and their medical conditions which I find rude and very unprofessional. If you have a complaint it's better to just keep it to yourself because if you say anything you will be retaliated against by the doctor and his staff & everyone in the entire building will know about what happened. We won't be back after today.

I was referred to Dr. Brian Coder from a friend. I have had several visits over the last 2 years and he and his staff have always been very professional and kind. I needed to see an orthopedic specialist and Dr. Brian's office set up everything for me. GREAT Physician! I would highly recommend to anyone.

I have been going to Brian Coder for years because I can always get right in. The problem is that he and his staff NEVER follow thru. I have spent weeks, even months, trying to get referal and they act like I am asking too much. They NEVER call in Rx when they say they will, and have often waited DAYS for a prescription that I needed immediately. Obviousely do not care about their patients.

I made an appointment for Brian Coder, and at time provided the scheduling nurse a brief synopsis with respect to my medical condition and needs. One of these involved pain management. I was advised by the scheduling nurse that he did provide pain management, but neither of the other two Coders did. On the day of my appointment, I completed all of the intake forms, and provided a list of my currently prescribed medications. After sitting in the waiting area for over an hour, a nurse summoned me to the front desk, and told me that Dr. Brian did not do pain management. This physician, who never spoke with or examined me nor looked at my medical records substantiating my medical condition, surely ignored the Hippocratic Oath as well as demonstrated an uncaring and unprofessional attitude in a manner which was prejudicial.

This doctor not only has terrible bedside manners but is shockingly incompetent. He prescribed my husband medication, which he refilled a month later, but when my husband went for the follow-up and to get the next refill (blood pressure meds) that clinic hadn't even written in his chart which meds he was given and at what dose.... they actually had to call ME to read it from his med bottles. This is just one example of the service we received at this clinic. Please save yourself and your loved ones the aggravation (and given the level of ineptitude, maybe even their life) and find another doctor.

Brian Coder is not concerned about the patient Brian Coder is concerned about how much money he can make off of you. Good Luck getting your prescription's refilled without giving Brian Coder $100 for an office visit, even if you've been a patient of his for his entire 14 year career.

dr. brian coder seems to just try to shuffle you in and out as quickly as possible. he lost my daughter's shot records. missed giving her her 1 year and 1 and a half year immunizations. then when i brought it to his attention that she probably needed to be immunized again, he started a two part series (since he was so behind on them). when i came back for the second part of the shots, he said he ONCE AGAIN could not find her shot records and told me to come back in a week and a half to see if they could find them! he said he would call in two prescriptions for my daughter (about five months apart) both times i wound up waiting at the pharmacy for hours because he NEVER called. when i finally got a hold of his nurse she said she's look into it and would call me back and i never heard from her or him again. left messages, no one will call back. very flakey. i'm switching doctors a.s.a.p.

cares and spends time with me, saved my life!

I started going to Dr. Coder about 6 months ago, when my longtime family doctor dropped my insurance. Dr. Coder is a very nice person, but he has kind of brushed me off on an ongoing health issue, that can not be ignored. He kept responding with "I just don't know" and "Maybe it's your age" (I'm 24...not common in my age bracket). He just didn't seem to help me, and it felt like he couldn't wait to get me out of his office. He is horrible with follow up and returning calls. He said multiple times, he would check up on this and that for me and get back to me, but never did. I also had to wait over a month just to hear blood test results. My husband also goes to him, and loves him because he is healthy as a horse and only sees him once a year for a physical. Dr. Coder is a nice man, but if you need a doctor that will work with you and be persistent, you might want to look elsewhere.
