Dr. Arthur Buonaspina, MD

My experience with Dr Buonaspina was horrific, consistently frustrating and disappointing. Communication is extremely one-sided — concerns are often dismissed, questions are not welcomed, and conversations frequently felt condescending. Rather than listening carefully, the doctor would speak over me loudly and seemed unwilling to have an open discussion about my children’s symptoms or treatment options. Both of my children struggled with ongoing issues — constipation and acid reflux — and neither concern was taken seriously. The advice given was very generic, minimal, and no more helpful than what could easily be found through a basic Google search. Every issue seemed to receive the same simplistic response instead of thoughtful, individualized care. The final straw with this office was after being advised that my 2 year old daughter was behind on a couple vaccines. I tried to have a conversation on how to update her without giving all in one day. Dr Buonaspina shouted at me about… his “policy” with his same old “my way or the highway” attitude — dismissing us at patients if we did not comply to giving her all SIX vaccines TODAY. A dismissal was not necessary as there is not a chance I would ever willingly step back in that office. As a parent, you want to feel heard, respected, and supported when advocating for your children’s health. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

If I could give zero stars I would. I never write reviews but here goes..This place is completely unprofessional. I made an appointment for my daughter to get shots needed for school, I explained to them the paper work stated what she was due for. I walked in today, was put in a room immediately and the doctor walked in barely said a word and gave my daughter a shot. We were told we were done, I asked for the updated paperwork for school. They asked What, is she behind on shots? When I asked what they just gave her I was told a flu shot, when I asked why they said that was what the appointment was made for. When I told the doctor that’s not what I made the appointment for he said well she needed a flu shot anyway, the girl at the desk sat there and lied to my face saying she informed me we were there for a flu shot upon arrival. They had zero compassion and took zero responsibility for making a huge mistake. He also had the nerve to tell me that he would write a letter and refuse to… see us again, as if we would ever return to this office!!!

Dr. Buonaspina is by far the best pediatrician on this Island. We’ve been to a few! He’s helped undo the damage of bad medicine and quackery practiced by others. We are so incredibly grateful!!! Finally, a doctor that knows what he’s talking about.

Dr. Buonaspina is one of the best diagnostician's on the island. I've been to a few different doctors whom easily prescribe antibiotics without a correct diagnosis! This creates havoc on kids. Dr. B knows when and what to treat and is very caring, experienced and knowledgeable. He's the real deal and excellent with kids!!! His office is run really well and his staff is great. Can't ask for anything more....!!!

Love Dr. B. Has never steered me wrong in 12 years . Highly recommend !!

He's smart but not personable at all. He doesn't shut the door, and gives u that rushed feeling. Always on the run. you scramble to get your questions out. He doesn't know your kids name or how old your kid is. In and out. Doesn't look at the charts. So as for bedside manner, it's upsetting.

Amazing doctor. Goes over and beyond office hours to treat my sons.

My family and i love Dr.B, i was a patient of his when i was younger now he cares for my son and my soon be baby girl. The staff is wonderful. If you are looking for a Doctor that treat ur family as if it was their own Dr. B your man.

He is a wonderful doctor. He really cares about his patients. I would refer him to everyone!!!!
