Dr. Asaf D Aleem

Dr Aleem is the Chief Medical Officer ( currently, as he moves around from place to place) at Park Royal Hospital in Ft Myers. He is complicit with Acadia Health ( managers of many psychiatric hospitals) in keeping patients trapped in this facility, milking the Insurance Companies. This hospital is a rat hole, and he is in charge. Ankle monitors, you are treated like DIRT, he attempted to give me anti-psychotic meds to drug me up after being served with Court Papers from a process server........Wow, how he changed his tune after an Attorney got involved in my illegal incarceration after a Baker Act by the local Sheriff. He wanted to keep me for weeks, with no need to so except lie and file false papers to AETNA. See the NY Times article dated 9/1/2024 on Park Royal and Acadia Health.

Dr. Aleem was a great doctor, but his staff, espescially his office manager, are rude, they will outright lie, it is ridiculous.

Maybe I am looking for a miracle but we have not found the correct drugs to minimize my depression. He is probably the most informed psychiatrist I have met in Atlanta over the past 40 years. I have seen 4-5 other Doctors over the years but he is by far the best. I will give him a 5th star once we find the right drug combination for my depression. He has also put together an excellent front office staff.

I have been seeing him for 18 years. He saved my life from being destroyed by bipolar illness.

I am a patient of 25 years and he has always been kind and listened with no rush. That is extremely rare these days. He wants to hear you for making informed decisions. You know that he is extremely caring with all his patients. He is a great pharmacologist who is willing to take the time when prescribing a medication to make sure it will work with a follow up for as many times as it takes to see what the result.

I had given up on ever living free from panic attacks and crippling anxiety; I couldn't even go to the grocery store without experiencing a feeling that I can only describe as terror. I have been seeing psychiatrists since the age of fourteen and I'm now thirty-six. The psychiatrists that I saw prior to Dr. Aleem prescribed me every antidepressant under the sun and even Ritalin at one point! These medications either did not help at all or made my anxiety much worse. Dr. Aleem prescribed me the correct medication after just two appointments. I'm now free from anxiety, panic attacks, and the crippling fear that I cannot even put into words. Thank you, Dr. Aleem!

Front office staff appear rude, discourteous, unprofessional and not ery effective at managing appointments and inquiries. Nurses, clinical staff , and Dr. Aleem are excellent in contrast.
