Dr. Ash M Dabbous, MD

Dr. Dabbous is one of the best Urogyno doctors in San Antonio. With my complicated condition I was referred to him by my doctor of over 10 years. Dr. Dabbous has a lot of experience. He is very knowledgeable, compassionate and has great bedside manners. There is a little bit of a wait time but he is worth the wait. Once he enters the room, he never makes you feel rushed. He takes his time and listens to everything you have to say and answers your questions with great details. I feel very comfortable and I know that I’m in good hands.

I was referred to Dr. Dabbous after a horrible incident with another doctor. He worked with my team of doctors and helped me out. His bedside manner and attention to detail is above all. Never had a doctor better than him.

Doctor Dabbous is very knowledgeable and caring, he took the time to explain what was going on with me in a way that I could understand, after he perform the surgery I had no complications ,everything was perfect. I warmly recommend Dr. Dabbous.

The staff was amazing! Dr. Dabbous was very compassionate and addressed all of my concerns. Definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a uryogyn!

Dr Dabbous is one of the best doctors in san antonio if not the best. His diagnosis is spot on and I will be seeing him to deliver my second baby. However, the women who signs you in at his front office is so rude. It ALMOST ruins your whole experience. I had heard this from multiple people and it is true.

The worse doctor ever, he doesn't care about you or your health, all that matters to him is the money and get as much as he can from you. He will try to get you to see him as many times as he could and will ask you to do as many labs as he can to make more money.I been in the hospital over a week now after the surgery and got an infection, not allowed to eat, he didn't even bother to come check on me although the nurse been messaging him all day long, when he finally replied said the radiologist needs to see me who did leave the hospital by that time. I made a huge mistake going to this doctor because of the good reviews i saw for him online. Please be careful and find yourself a better specialist who cares about medicine no just the money.

Dr. Dabbous is a great Doctor. Before my surgery he took the time to answer any questions I had and walk me through the procedure. I felt very at ease and confident in his abilities. It's rare to find a doctor now days that actually will answer all of you concerns and questions.

I wanted to see Dr. Dabbous for a second opinion on bladder issues and I have other complications. I tried 2 times to make an appointment WITH him. Problem is he does not do annual appointments and since I had not had that done I had to do that first. She told me that after this one I could come and see him, but that was not the case. I am sure he is a great Dr. but be careful if you really want to see him because it probably will not happen. I had a nice older Dr., but I drove 45 minutes to get there and could have received the same exam in the town I live in 15 min away. Very disappointed with the whole experience. I also have very good insurance.

Dr. Dabbous just performed a hysterectomy using the Davinci Robotic procedure. He is one of the most highly trained doctors in San Antonio (and possibly Texas) in this procedures and performs several of these surgeries per week. The surgery and recovery went just as expected. Dr. Dabbous is also very caring, personable and down-to-earth. He took as much time as I needed to answer all of my questions before and after the surgery, and was extremely thorough and understanding. His staff was also great, from Brenda who handles everything pertaining to the surgery, to Sam, his nurse.

I have had to wait up to 2hrs in the waiting room and I have also been rescheduled or booked 3 times for 1 appointment. He is a great doctor, but the office needs to revamp their scheduling policies and management. The whole waiting room is grumbling about their wait time and rescheduling on a very frequent basis.
