My name is Jacquelyn Emmers. My sister Sherry Harris has been a patient of Dr. Ateka Zaki since 2002. She was diagnosed with severe anxiety and depression. She was also diagnosed with Bipolar One Disorder. I noticed an improvement in Sherry’s overall mental health after receiving treatment from Dr. Zaki. Sherry’s severe anxiety and depression along with bipolar One symptoms are well under control now. Dr. Zaki is a very professional doctor who cares about improving the mental health of her patients. I recommend her to anyone. Now my sister is able to function and live life in a normal manner.

After she began treating me for my diagnosis, the severe symptoms I once experienced were well maintained and under control. This review is quite different than one you’ve read before, in that I felt deep remorse writing a review about Dr. Ateka Zaki; and yet the same day I wrote the bad review this website would not allow me to remove it in any shape or form. I dearly hope that Dr. Zaki and her staff can forgive me of this careless and selfish mistake I made; and I truly want to make it up to her because she IS a good doctor and not what I or anyone else accuse her of being. It is enough for me that this doctor is considerate and kind in the words she chooses so as not to hurt the other person. It may be subtle at times, but it is there and clear if you pay attention. Also, she is so presentable in her dress and manners that you would not mind staying with her for hours. I could go on, but do not want to make this long. As for her being rude, as some reviews suggests; this is bogus and people have different personalities so learn to deal with this. And I read that her staff do not answer the… phone which is not true and I never had a problem with this. I want to reiterate that Dr. Ateka Zaki is a professional and knowledgeable doctor that cares for her patients and their families; and her outstanding work reflects by my and other patients’ satisfaction. Thank you Dr. Ateka Zaki, you continue to help many.

Dr. Zaki has seen my child for several years. She is thoughtful and considerate. Yes, you may wait a while in the waiting room but that has gotten better. It is worth it because I have never felt rushed when I have been in the appointment with her. Dr. Zaki truly cares about her patients and has done wonders to keep my child stable!

This doctors first of all has terrible bedside manner. She is very rude and rushes through your whole appointment. You will wait an hour to see her and the get 5 minutes with her. She seems like she doesn't care about you or your problems. I called multiple times to change medications and no answer every time. If I had questions, they would never get back to be either. I read the bad reviews and didnt want to believe it. I would 100% recommend you don't see her.

She is a very compassionate professional. My son who is autistic is improving with his behavior both in school,and at home. She is able to use every subjective, and objective information to access a child with behavioral problems before prescribing medication which she monitors to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.She works with me, and my son's school in treating my son's autism.
