Dr. Athena Richardson, MD

I love Dr Richardson as well as all her staff. I am able to call anytime and they always fit my kids right in. She has had the same staff since i could remember and they are all very welcoming. When I take one of my kids in without the other one, she always refers back to my other child and their well being; even remembers their names. I definitely would recommend this office to any parent. If Dr Richardson is out, other Dr's there see your children for you and take care of them the same exact way as Dr Richardson would. I love love love them!

Wow.. I read some of the other comments on here before writing mine and I must say that I am very surprised by some of the comments. We have been seeing Dr. Richardson for about 4yrs now and she is GREAT! We never wait more than 5minutes from the time we walk in the door til we see her. She is very thorough and courtious. She has always been nothing but nice and patient with us. I as out one night having dinner with a friend and Dr Richardson happened to be at the same restaurant. Not only did she remember my name but she remembered my sons name as well. Not many Drs can do that without looking at a chart first. She will be the only Pediatrician I will ever take my son to.

Doc was her usual self in helping my daughter today. She and her staff are always helpful and insightful. he diagnosed my child's problem and gave her a prescription to pick up quickly. Thanks Doc.

I have 4 children and have been seeing Dr. Richardson for some time. She does not listen to my concerns and as a result, my daughter had a condition for over 6 months that I had brought to her concern and she failed to treat or test for! At every visit it seems as though she wants to rush through to get to the next patient and all I ever hear is "Oh, that's normal, it'll be fine" Most of the time she never even looks at my children to see what I am talking about. The last straw for me was when I brought up a concern recently and was told "well what do you want me to do about it". Needless to say none of my children will ever see her again!

She is an exellent doctor. SHe always has a warm smile.

She is just okay. She doesnt remember any of the patients by name, never pauses with the infant to give them a second to get aquainted with her. She is VERY quick to prescribe medicine and has no advice on how to avoid problems or preventitive care. She doesnt seem to care at all about her patients, just wants to move on to the next. My husband was very upset that after 6 visits, she still did not address him when speaking about our son and basically ignores him. She diagnosed my son correctly, but that is pretty much all she did. The office staff mumbles and doesnt give any eye contact. The girl in the back who does follow up appointments is nice, but the rest dont seem to care either.
