Posting this for the health of your child: My son who was the patient and 16 months old at the time was brushed aside. My son's issues were ignored and I felt rushed through the appointment. Moreover, the doctor discounted the severity of my son’s allergies. Had I followed his recommendation, my son would have been in tremendous discomfort and pain, not to mention potential risk of a life threatening attack. In addition, every decision we made at the time had strong impact on my son's feeding developmental stages as he was still a baby and due to his allergies struggling to learn how to eat solids. Every misstep, cost us a few more weeks of correction to get him to eat better... I waited three months for this appointment only for it to result with basically medical negligence on the doctor's behalf. It is dangerous, and this is why I felt strongly that I needed to write this review. I highly recommend seeing a different allergy specialist that will listen and work to understand… your child with you, so that you can find the right path forward. Good luck!

It was my first appointment with Dr. Deener today and he is very thorough and does not rush. I felt great about the visit and my choice of physician. He is a very approachable and informative.

Rare in today's world of hectic offices and prior authorizations do you find such a caring, competent doctor. I just wish he hadn't moved to White Plains.
