Dr. Awais M Khan, MD

Gave my parent chemotherapy while they had an infection and got septic shock and nearly died from it. Guess chemotherapy isn't his speciality after all. It did start the decline into death, though. Thanks Mr Khanman.

Under the guidance of a senior oncologist at Mayo Clinic, Dr. Khan was asked to simply administer the drugs based on a certain protocol. He refused to do so and came up with his own treatment plan instead. I denied treatment from his office and have returned to Mayo Clinic on a full-time basis. I don't trust him.

I was admitted as an emergency almost two months ago. Dr Khan proved to be the team leader who spent a good deal of time with me my wife and especially my very involved adult children. He has provided more then expected diagnostics reviews and time to my case, set up radiology early and ended most of my pain ! He once said to me that I was a lucky man to have such a great family. He saw them as an asset He could have viewed them as a distraction. Because of issues I am having with a particular drug Dr Khan said he doesn't want me to suffer and wants to make life as comfortable as possible so he changed the schedule and gave me hope that the body would adjust. Can't get better than that And he returns calls. Good Doctor Good man. I thank him

I have been seeing Dr. Khan for many years. I have chronic leukemia. He has managed to keep my disease under control. I have gone through multiple lines of treatment. He stays on top of the latest research and very knowledgeable. He is proactive in my care. I am in a better place under his care for many years. He has excellent demeanor and very professional. I highly recommend him.

Dr Awaus Khan does not care for anyone's input regarding their own health or life. When we told him my husband was having horrific headaches he said colon cancer does not go to the brain. Well it did and my husband died!! I never do much as received a phone call to say he was sorry for my loss. Just an awful Dr with zero compassion.

I have been his patient for 4 years and I appreciate all he has done for me. I am in remission. It was a tough battle. Dr. Khan has been all along. Very Kind, Supportive and Knowledgeable doctor. Highly Recommended.

We went to see Dr. Khan for a second opinion. He listened to us and offered treatment options. He also coordinated care with the radiation and surgery. Excellent Doctor. Could not appreciate more. I have aggressive type of Breast cancer and now I am in remission. I am getting year long treatment and on an oral medicine. He really cares about you. He has excellent bedside manners. He called me at home after I had my surgery to make sure I was doing okay. I went to him after my friend highly recommended him. He was treating her lung cancer. Again, go see him if you are diagnosed with cancer. Highly recommended.

Dr Awais khan is the most uncaring Dr I have ever met. We told him for months something was wrong with having excruciating headaches and he replied your fine your cancer does not go to the brain, not this type of cancer. Well he died of brain cancer and I never so much as got a condolence phone call from this heartless Dr. all he wanted to do is give more chemo! Be very careful to do your research on this Dr. he also will not listen to a Womens opinion.
