Dr. Ayesha Khalid, MD, FACS

After dealing with sinus issues for the last 20+ years, I met Dr. Khalid. She is a good listener and was very thorough in diagnosing my problem. After ruling out many possibilities, she recommended surgery. I wish I had met Dr. Khalid years earlier. I can now breathe easily and no longer suffer from sinus headaches!

I was introduced to Dr. Khalid by reading an article that she was featured in from a magazine put out by Emerson Hospital. I had suffered from chronic congestion for years and every diagnosis and treatment were uneffective. At my first appointment with Dr. Khalid, she correctly identified what the true issue was. She subsequently performed a minimally invasive surgery which has remedied my issue! She is also a joy to deal with!

I have had sinus disease for many years and Dr. Khalid was the first doctor to identify exactly what was wrong and map out a plan to help me feel better. After a few visits and a CT scan, she determined that sinus balloon dilation offered the best chance for symptom relief. The whole procedure was explained in great detail and she encouraged me to read further information that was available online and to ask questions. By the time that I had the procedure last week, I was well informed and prepared. In addition, her calm and competent manner throughout the procedure was very helpful to me. I am already feeling better than I have in many years and I look forward to feeling even better as the weeks go by. It is unusual to find a doctor who is so skilled and so approachable. I give her an A+!

As a first time patient here, I found Dr. Khalid and her staff professional and competent as well as caring and approachable. I would recommend her highly.

My mother had problems with nose bleeds due to dryness, but Dr. Khalid took her time and explained everything in detail, even though this was not a complicated matter. She has a great way of saving time when recommending products by circling the item on a prepared notepad which ensures you get the correct item.She is interested in you as a person and I would definitely recommend her as an ENT Specialist....she is precise,knowledgeable, warm and intelligent.

Dr. Khalid is wonderful. I did not know what to expect when I switched from my other ENT who did not listen to me and since I have a lot of allergies to medications he had no patience with me.Dr. Khalid took the time to explain everything in detail about my condition and answered all my questions and came up with a plan for an ongoing sinus/nasal problem. She understands my allergies and is working around them and never got frustrated with me because I could not take certain medications. I am so glad I found her as when I leave her office I feel taken care of and confident.I highly recommend her to anyone that needs an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist.

I have never had a doctor be so interested in my well-being, so available and so responsive. Dr. Khalid takes her time to listen to my concerns and is great at explaining what is going on. Other doctors could learn from her bedside manner. She is also the only specialist I saw that suggested a course of action to solve my issues. Every else just told me to live with my symptoms.

She is the best. Even though she is not in PA anymore we still keep in touch and she continues to be involved in my care. I can breathe so much better after my surgery. If I ever need surgery again I'm gonna back my bags and go see her in Boston! She does tend to run a bit late but will give you all the time in the world - I never felt like she was in a hurry or just wanted to move on to the next person. GREAT doc!!!
