Dr. Azita Ardakani, MD

I do not recommend this doctor. She does not genuinely care about her patients. She is too busy and has too many patients, she can not keep up with everyone. She relies on her assistant to keep her updated on patients but her assistant and staff is just as careless as she is, there is no communication between anyone at that office. I have never felt so neglected as a very pregnant patient in my life.

I was a new patient of Dr. Ardakani but she treated me like we've known each other for years. Her bedside manner is superb and she it literally the nicest, most un-intimidating doctor I've been to. I had to wait about 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment but this was at 6PM after she had been seeing patients all day. I'm excited for my next appointment...who would think someone could be excited about a doctor's appointment?

I was referred to Dr. Ardakani by primary doctor. Dr. Ardakani provided the best OBGYN education and services I have ever received with clear communication and delivered the best patient comfort. She takes her patients seriously and concern is genuine. Dr. Ardakani's enthusiasm and professionalism is vibrant and transparent. Thank you!

Dr. Ardakani is a great doctor, very kind and caring, who I've been seeing for around 5 years. She is excellent at what she does, (she's performed surgery on me as well as other procedures) but as others have said the support staff definitely needs improvement. I don't know how her staff schedules appts. but be prepared to wait at least 45 minutes or longer AFTER your scheduled appt. I've been there as long as an hour or longer before I was seen and to me that is unacceptable. It is a VERY crowded waiting room and it seems as if there is a lot is going on with many patients, and most of them are there to see her. Her support staff seems very disorganized and doesn't seem to know what's going on a lot of times. I've been there several times and it always seems like it's the 1st time when I go. I was there recently and the ultrasound machine had stopped working(how that happened who knows), mind you this is the 2nd time I had to reschedule due to an discrepancy!! Be prepared to call them… to follow up on your scheduled appt. time...although I thought they were supposed to call you?? I've also had to call her to get test results...again isn't she supposed to call me?? I like her but I may consider going to another doctor if things don't improve.

The stuff is very disorganized and unprofessional . For my first appointment they told me to come 30 min earlier to fill out the paper work. I had to wait 1 hour and 45 min for the doctor to see me. Because the stuff told me that my appointment at 12:15, so I came at 11:45. Nobody told me that half an hour starts from 12:15. Aventually, the doctor saw me an hour and 45 min later. I don't know why I kept waiting. I should've just left. The facility is very outdated. The waiting room is not only for expecting women, but for everyone else, all ages. Very crowded waiting room.

I had the pleasure of finding the jewel, Dr. Azita Ardakani, via my boss's wife. She was her OBGYN. She would travel from Naperville to Melrose Park to see her so I knew I had to be on to something special but I didn't know the half! I came to her with hyperemesis gravidarum. I was diagnosed by her and put on home care eventually. I recall explaining my plight to her in my 3rd trimester when I saw tears well up in her eyes in compassion for the tears already in mine. She listens, she cares, she's responsive, she's dilligent, she's accurate. Choosing her was one of the best decision I ever made in my life! After I had my daughter, her attentiveness didn't end there. She had saved our lives, literally and then she referred me to Dr. Bella Zarubinsky at Dr. Tesis (retired) office off Manheim Rd in Westchester for Pediatric care. They had the same elevated level of attentiveness and personalized beside manner. I still visit this referral today 13 years later. Would I recommend… someone? I found this site in order to recommend my sister today. I told her to drop her doctor and take a consultation with Dr. Ardakani. Once she does, she will be uterlly satisfied with the competent courteous care she'll receive just as I and my boss's wife had received 7 years prior to me.
