Dr. Barbara A. Bergdolt

This so called doctor misdiagnosed me back in 06 with pneumonia instead of meningitis. In the end I almost died at UNC hospital. Now I have lived with post symptoms for almost 15 years. This lady was more concerned about her reputation that fixing the problem when I was misdiagnosed and finger pointing started. I hope you read this Bergdolt. You jacked up my life with your misdiagnosis. I'm surprised you're still in practice but Karma comes when you least expect it.

Dr. Bergdolt has been my physician for 15 years and I can't imagine managing my health without her. She's not only a knowledgeable and dedicated physician, but is also kind, empathetic and thorough. She caught my breast cancer in its early stages and expedited all the care required to give me a favorable prognosis. I'm grateful she's on my team!

I am in my 70's and have been in the care of Dr. Bergdoldt for about 5 years. I have found her to be extremely competent, and compassionate! She takes time to listen, and communicates clearly, and takes a sensible, conservative approach to medical treatment. I originally transferred to her on the recommendation of a friend, when I moved to the area; my previous Dr was a Duke physician. I hope to have Dr. Bergdoldt as my physician as long as I live in this area (in spite of my dissatisfaction with the UNC billing department!)

I have been a patient of Dr. Bergdolt for approximately 8 years. She is extremely thorough and her diagnosis for sometimes difficult conditions has been excellent. Her manner and the attention she pays are outstanding. I am now in my 70s and can say in all those years, I have never been in the care of a better doctor.

Dr Bergdolt is a great Dr. She is kind, patient and very thorough.

Have followed her from her private Durham practice then over to Chatham Crossing. Best diagnostician I've known over my 70 years. Speaks easily and listens exceptionally well. Her coordinating care of my several chronic conditions is very thoughtful. But, while her previous nurse was really competent, her present nurse is hostile and passive aggressive. She's never ever returned a phone call. And since she is the "gateway" to Dr. Bergdolt, it's now impossible to have any follow-up on an appointment. My wife and I will have to go elsewhere if that angry nurse remains there past summer 2013.

I have been a patient of Dr Bergdolt for 3 years and find her compassionate and thorough, sometimes too conservative in her treatment plans. Recently the office changed nurses and not for the better! The former nurse would promptly return calls and also follow up. My most recent experience has not been positive to the point I may consider changing physicians since the support staff is your gateway to the doctor. Hopefully things will get better since I really would like to stay with the office.
