I was born and raised in New York City and I spent most of my adult life there. I loved it there and I still do. I practiced in that community for almost 21 years. For 16 of those years I hosted a live, call-in radio talk show. I lectured internationally and as well as nationally. I have always continued to study because I enjoy learning new things. I am an avid reader. I came to Los Angeles in 2005 to attend the UCLA/Sepulveda VA Forensic Psychiatry Program for 1 year. I was seduced to stay by the opportunity to work with the fellowship program in a teaching capacity. I am presently the Director of the Forensic Training Program at Metopolitan State Hospital. As such, the fellows from the UCLA/Sepulveda Forensic Fellowship Program spend the greater portion of six months of their year training at Metropolitan State Hospital. There, they are primarily engaged in evaluations, report writing and treatment in the forensic unit of the hospital under my tutoring. I also have several offices …in the Los Angeles County community where I provide treatment and evaluations to individuals who seek my services. I have found a rich and full life in my new home and a community that I am proud to serve.

Dr. Justice is rude, judgemental, J very unprofessional, and makes you feel downright terrible about yourself. First of all, I need a psychiatrist to help with what and how much medication to take. Instead, she questioned my diagnosis, straight out told me it doesnt sound like you have that (without even hearing my background). When I had a question about medication she had to read directly out of the Prescription Guide (literally had the book in front of her). The worst doctor I have ever seen!,

This is one of the best doctors I've ever had. She is warm, professional, asked me good questions and really seems like she cares. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Justice is a great psychiatrist. She actually spends time to listen and cares about my well being. I've been to so many doctors that don't even know my name or have me in and out of the office in a minute. But Dr. Justice is different. I would recommend Dr. Justice to any friend or family member.

I was very impressed from my first visit. There was an attentiveness rarely seen in the medical profession. She listens very well. I also felt that she understood my problem and was very experienced in treating this kind of problem. I highly recommend her. We need more professionals like her in the mental health field. (By the way, her staff is also quite friendly and professional.)

The office staff is very friendly and helpful. However Dr. Justice only spent 3 minutes with me on average. I walked in, she asked if i was suicidal, told, told me to go to the hospital if i was, then told me to close the door behind me. I am bipolar and starting meds for the first time, so asking detailed questions about how I am feeling with a new drug is essential. I found a new dr and the waiting time for an appointment was only a few days instead of 6 weeks. If session time is precious to you I suggest searching for a different doctor who is more careful with prescribing medication. I had to tell her what I was diagnosed with and had to pick the medication because she didn't bother to ask more questions before prescribing. Also, she does look at her phone often during a session, which I find unprofessional.

Dr. Justice is absolutely terrible and completely unprofessional. If you are looking for a good psychiatrist DO NOT go to Dr. Justice. She never returned any of my phone calls and was completely rude when I did get a chance to talk to her.
