Dr. Barbara Arcilla Kennedy-Funtila, MD

Dr. Kennedy has been my moms primary for about 20yrs. She always says “Everything is Fine “. Well I’m writing this review to say “Everything is NOT Fine “. My mom went to her cardiologist appt yesterday and they said from The looks of her legs and feet she needs to go straight to the ER because we cannot tell if she has pneumonia or heart failure. My mom has had a quadruple bypass heart surgery in 1991. I’m not a doctor but I have enough common sense to see that “Everything is NOT Fine “. Yes this doctor does talk fast and seems to NOT have time so for anyone considering on having this doctor as their primary think twice Elaine Sutton

I have been going to Dr. Kennedy for about 7 years. She does refer to specialist and is thorough. I sometimes have a hard time getting the correct message to her when I call the front desk. I will have to call again for the Rx refill I requested with call to front desk. Yes, Doctor Kennedy talks very fast, but I can talk faster. So, I have no problem. Yes, she is usually rushed, but people don't realize that a doctor is allowed about 15 minutes with a patient by the insurance companies. I am 83 years old and believe me I have seen some very bad doctors. With the time the doctors have to visit one patient, Doctor Kennedy does better than most. LOL....Maybe that is because she talks so fast. It is hard to get an appointment in a timely manner. Most doctors make your 6 months check up appointment before you leave. That is the only way you can get your Rx refilled. I have not had anyone at the front desk make a 6 months follow up for me. Most doctors do that.

Very nice lady. I feel better after I talked to her.

She is always very considerate,good hearted,,good listener,and experienced doctors. Whenever I visited her I felt better and felt I am in good hands.

Very kind, compassionate doctor who always gets me motivated to take care of myself.

My visit on 8-16-17 was more satisfactory than previous ones. Dr. Kennedy seemed more concerned with my complaint (different complaint from previous ones) than she had been in the other cases. She appeared to study my physical self and used stethoscope for first time.She sent me for x-ray immediately. Her referral this time was very quick, but the specialist won't be able to see me until 9-22 (not Kennedy's fault).

Much better than first two. Dr. Kennedy seemed interested in me, in what I came for (I asked for the apptmt). My symptoms for two years have not been diagnosed by 4 other doctors. I asked for patented RX for relief. Agreed to. I did not have extended wait time as before.

From start to finish, I felt well taken care of. All of my questions and concerns were fully addressed. Dr. Kennedy-Funtila and her staff are always friendly and professional.

The one thing that stands out to me with dr Kennedy is she never rushes me thru my visit (This has happened to me with other doctors ). She cares and it shows. She is the best

We left a physician of 20 years for Dr. Kennedy-Funtilla. I visited her with a friend who was her patient. I was so impressed with her that my husband and I left our current doctor and became her patients. I am in the health care field so I feel I can make an astute opinion. She was so intelligent, friendly, efficient and helpful, in a life threatening situation. She is a gem.
