Dr. Barbara T Sanford, PhD

I truly appreciated Dr. Sanford's warmth and personality when we first began our sessions, and I enjoyed our time together. However, I became uncomfortable with some aspects of our conversations. While I understand that connecting with patients can be part of the process, I noticed that Dr. Sanford frequently shared details about other clients. If this had been a one-off situation, I might not have thought much of it, but it happened often enough to raise concerns. Whenever I mentioned someone, it seemed as though she felt the need to share whether she knew them or had worked with them in the past. As a patient, I was hoping for a space where I could feel confident my privacy would be respected, and I began to question whether that trust was fully upheld. It's truly unfortunate that this affected my experience, as I do like her as a person. If confidentiality and trust are important to you, I encourage you to consider these factors when choosing a provider.
