I was referred to Dr. Ross as an emergency case. His office staff was very kind and accommodating and I was able to receive treatment within 24 hours. He took the time to listen to my concerns, my medical history, and believed me when I discussed my pain, and the circumstances I was in. He understood that this was not normal for me and that I needed help. I appreciate his friendly manner, he made me feel much more comfortable as I went into a procedure. Following the procedure, Dr. Ross took the time to talk to my family and explain the diagnosis and treatment plan. The office has a GI doctor on call if you have questions or concerns; I called this number twice and a doctor called me back within 20 minutes. Overall, I am thankful that the emergency department referred me to Dr. Ross.

Dr. Ross was fine but his front office staff needs improvement. They were not real courteous when I made my appointment over the phone. Also they did not mark the place on my instruction sheet indicating whether or not I could eat breakfast the first liquid day so I had to call in and ask. Also, they apparently failed to give my insurance information to their billing department, thus I was billed for the entire cost of my consult appointment minus my co-pay and had to call them and straighten it out.

Great bedside manner, thoughtful, incisive, warm, charming and sraightforward.
