Dr. Bassam Mohammad Fakhouri, MD

Having Dr. Fakhouri as our son's primary care physician has been the most wonderful thing that has happened to our family since moving to Arizona 15 years ago. My son was diagnosed with ADHD when he was in the sixth grade, and anyone who has a child with this diagnosis knows how overwhelmingly difficult and life-changing this diagnosis can be--for the child and the family--especially when trying to navigate the traditional classroom setting. Dr. Fakhouri spent so much time with us, each time we visited, to educate, to listen, to problem-solve, and to encourage. Dr. Fakhouri understands the challenges these children face, but he also sees their potential. Dr. Fakhouri understands that these children (and their families) need more than their prescriptions if they are to be successful in managing their ADHD symptoms and barriers--they need education, validation, and encouragement. Dr.Fakhouri is well-respected in the Air Force Community, where we were fortunate enough to have found him.… Our only regret is that our son, now 15 and almost 6' tall, will soon need to leave the Pediatrics setting and the care of Dr. Fakhouri.
