Dr. Becky Bea Personett, MD

I had Dr. Personett for about 14 years as my primary care provider until I moved from El Paso in 2019. I really was very happy with her as my doctor. I found her to be competent, caring, supportive, challenging & professional. Yes, she had her rough days & could be gruff at times, but she always apologized later. She know her stuff & would follow up on recommendations to be sure I was getting the help I needed from the specialists to whom she had referred me. I highly recommend Dr Personett as a primary care provider.

Tried making an appointment with and they are Understaffed. the main doctor herself was answering and making the appointments. Not to mention she was very rude and not helpful. Would not recommend. She has two stars for a reason

this lazy worthless wanabe teacher is smart as a DR but has no teaching skills no xtra credit no grade curving her power points and clas lectures dont match her exams an she has no test reviews post grades late an is not in touch with teaching at all take this worthless teacher at your own risk she needs to stik to hospital work an get out of teach

The chairs they had in the waiting room were horrible. I was so uncomfortable; I wish they had put more thought into patient comfort. It takes them forever to get back to me. I never get my questions answered within a reasonable time period. I don't feel like I can count on them to work with me until they find a solution for my situation. They always seem like they're going to give up on me. I would never send my friends or family here. My experience here was truly horrifying. Dr. Personett has a smug, arrogant attitude. She did not listen at all. Instead, she typed on her computer the entire time I was in her office. I have documented, disc herniations in my back with complications from several procedures. I would talk for five seconds, she would tell me to be quiet in the middle of a sentence and her office was about 90 degrees. Extremely uncomfortable and unpleasant. Then after enough horrible time passed sitting in her office, feeling uncomfortable and not being listended to,… she commences to tell me something non-helpful and says she will not prescribe something for pain- noting that doctors cannot prescribe narcotics unless your spine is ripped out or the big, bad DEA will send them to prison for the rest of their lives. Folks, I'm NOT a drug seeker, please. I had been in desperate pain for days, this is why I made an appointment. She prescribes an anti-depressant to me for excruciating pain and writes in my records I "begged" for pain medication. That's laughable. I did nothing of the sort. Luckily I found a much better doctor with better credentials to help me who did without any of the drama of this woman.By the way, she was 40 minutes late in seeing me and her waiting area is small, cramped, hot and miserable. Avoid this place like the plague.
