Dr. Bedford Hudson Berrey, MD

Dr.Berrey is a Superb Surgeon with fantastic bedside manner that isn't easily found. Specializing in orthopedic Tumors, Cancers, & your uncommon orthopedic diagnoses. Dr.Berrey's surgery skills are superb, the incision my son has is beautiful, & looks like a plastic surgeon's would. DrBerrey is kind, attentive, supportive, he has truly gone above & beyond to make sure our family understood everything, never once rushing us. As a scared Mom 1st & RN 2nd, DrBerrey made sure my son & our family understood all options & possible outcomes, after our 1st meeting we all had confidence in DrBerrey who still managed to exceeded my expectations! I am eternally grateful for all DrBerrey has done for My Son!! I will highly recommend him to anyone who needs an orthopedic specialist!!

In 1988 I was diagnosed with an aggressive bone tumor in my right knee. Not only was the general prognosis from other doctors that I would not live 6 months, I would certainly lose my leg in the time before I died. I was in the Army then, and sent to Walter Reed under Dr Berrey. He immediately took care of me, and I mean it with all sincerity-he saved my life. Not only do I still have my leg, I have had another 31 years of a good life. While I have limitations, I can say for certain that had I not seen Dr Berrey way back then, I would have lost my leg and maybe my life. I'll never forget him, nor his easy laughter at a good joke.

Dr.Berry was kind, compassionate, and caring. He was my Doctor in Gainesville, I had a horse riding accident, and after many surgeries, my infectious desease Doctor in New Port Richey, FL told me that I should go to Gainesville In order to save my life. Fortunately for me I was assigned to Dr. BERREY. , HE took the best care of me, Mt lower right leg was amputated after many tries to save it. Dr. Berry was transfered to Jacksonville, but promised to return for my surgery in Gainesville. He did and I was very happy. I will never forget you Dr. Berry you saved my life. I appreciate every thing you did for me and my family. It was in 2002, and when I wear blue jeans you would never know that I had an amputation. Dr. Berrey is very compassionate and really cares about his patients. it is so evident and wants the best for them. I have been knowing him for years but now my husband and I are patients and we are getting the finisest of care. I highly recommend him because he really cares about is patients.

20 years after being under the care of then, Colonel Berrey, I have since taken advantage of the second chance at life he gave me by becoming a teacher. I am also a wrestling coach, all because he saved my leg. Fond memories of Dr. Berrey as well as heart-felt thanks.

Dr Berrey is a compassionate and caring Dr. He has treated me for 13 yrs. I couldn't ask for a better Dr. He is very courteous to his patients and their family members. I would not want another DR handling my case.

Dr. Berrey treated my daughter when she was 9 and did an awesome job. (Two surgeries.) Some symptoms returned 11 years later. Dr. Berrey actually remembered her and her case all those years later--and recommended action to take while she was living on the west coast. He was so kind--and did a great job for us.

1998 I was told I had stage 5 osteosarcoma. I was going to die! Dr. Berrey saved my life and my leg which was going to be amputated..No other caring and compassionate dr. ever!
