Dr. Beena Mathai-Jose, MD

Overall, I have enjoyed all of my experiences with ALL of the doctors in this practice. They are all knowledgeable and caring. Dr. Jose is extremely kind and cheerful, and she truly seems to love the children. She is not an alarmist and she will help to calm your worries. She also always takes the time to address any and all concerns/questions before she even examines your child. Highly recommend her!

I love Dr. Rubin, her office and all the other doctors on staff, unfortunately I think Dr. Rubin missed the mark when she hired Dr. Mathai-Jose. I'm not an alarmist when it comes to my kids...I usually wait a while before bringing them in for a sick visit. My son was sick for almost a month, so we had an urgent sick visit with Dr. Mathai-Jose; she tried to minimize how sick my son was and actually made me feel bad for even bringing him in. She also ordered the wrong lab test for him and later when calling to give me the result blamed the nurse for not having sent the right test. Uhh...so the nurse orders the test or the doctor does? She could have just apologized instead of blaming the nurse. Moving forward, I have made sure to always request anyone but Dr. Jose-Mathai as I have only but good things to say about the other clinicians in the practice.

Her bedside manner was amazing. .im a first time mom who.delivered at northshore manhasset..i was induced at 37 weeks..she made me feel.at ease and educated me about my daughter ..shes thorough and very easy to talk to..she encouraged me to call and ask any questions if i had forgotten anything. .the greatest pediatrician. Especially since i was h high risk ..my daughter is still seeing her and doing great!!

Dr. Mathai-Jose is one of the nicest doctors I have come across. She is very knowledgeable and caring. I highly recommend her to anyone. She calls back immediately and puts you to ease. Wonderful person.
