Dr. Behzad Habibi Khameneh, MD

I am no longer a patient because of the poor treatment I received from this office. Dr Habibi is inconsiderate and doesn’t follow up. I had to wait 4 months for an appointment and then receive no consideration at all for being 15 minutes late due to traffIc from White Plains. And then to not be able to reach anyone for 25 minutes to say I’m in traffic. You need to upgrade your phone system and your staff, very unprofessional.

I met Dr. Habibi on a referral from ne of his patients. I am a physician/researcher, as well as an assistant professor at Sidney Kimmel Medical College in Philadelphia. I have suffered from a very painful, incurable form of nerve injury on my face and head. Because of my connections, I have seen many doctors, each providing therapies, shown to benefit some patients with my condition. My wife and I met with Dr. Habibi and following his examination, he explained what he might offer, the potential benefits, duration, and possible adverse effects. Although a quiet individual, he has a large personality and heart (concern for his patients). Dr.Habibi is an excellent neurologist, doing his best, given the limitations all doctors face following the Covid-19 pandemic and corporate medicine.

Beware, this practice has no concept of time.

I was referred to Dr. Habibi by Stacey Ott, my primary care doctor, because of concerns about my balance and symptoms of Neuropathy. Dr. Habibi was thorough in his examination and testing for Neuropaty, which was found to exist in my legs. He prescribed physical therapy, which has been helpful. During my follow up treatments, his assistant, Loralee Richter, also discovered that I had shakiness due to Parkinsons. She prescribed Carb/Levo, which I now take three times daily, and it certainly helps to modify my shakiness. I continue to see Ms. Richter, and do my exercises.

I went to see him because i had a hernia operation in 2013 woke up from the operation and couldn't move my leg. After meeting with him he decide that he wanted to do an EMG, as we are doing the test he gets to the area where my leg isn't working properly,He does the test and insert those small needles in my leg and i start to scream, He stops the test and tells me that the test is inconclusive. I ask him do redo the test and ill suck up the pain he refuses and tells me the test is over and asked me if i new my way out or he could escort me. This is happened because he is covering for the surgeon at the danbury hospital. i will never recommend him to any one and i think these doctors need to stand on there own two feet and stand up for whats right. i still cant move my leg.

I was seven minutes late to my appointment and the doctor refused to see me. I drove an hour to see him. I am not coming back here anymore. There is nothing worse than doctors who work without compassion.Doctors sometimes forget how long people wait to see them, and how anxious patients are to get to talk to them and hear their opinion. The doctor had left the office even before my appointment time ended. The secretary said he had left for a meeting, even before my appt time was over. TERRIBLE! The secretaries, same thing.
