As an athlete himself, Dr. Ben Kittredge always had a desire to pursue a career that would allow him to care for and interact with a sports-minded population. After earning an undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and a Masters degree in Physiology from Georgetown University, Dr. Kittredge returned to the University of Virginia to attain his medical degree. He then completed a general surgery internship at Roanoke Memorial Hospital and an orthopaedic residency at the University of Virginia. Additionally, Dr. Kittredge completed a fellowship in sports medicine at Jefferson Medical College and Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. While there, he nurtured his interest in sports by serving as assistant team physician for the Philadelphia Eagles, Flyers, and Phillies.

Dr Kittredge was very attentive during my time with him. Offered an operative and non-operative path for a broken clavicle. Listened to my questions, concerns, thoughts…addressed them all before and after the surgery as well as all post-op follow up visits. Felt very comfortable throughout. I hope I never need another surgeon (orthopedic or any other), but if I did I would feel very comfortable with Dr Kittredge. If you need an orthopedic surgeon, you’re in great hands with him.

They responded with an appointment very quickly. A little awkward regarding parking and brick area in front of the building with my husbands leg in a immobilizing brace on his leg. Urgent care said he couldn’t weight bear until ortho gave approval. I had to go to the second floor to get a wheelchair, go back down, get my husband in the wheel chair and then push him over the bricks to renter the building. This is out of their control but be aware. Spotless facility. Every thing in the office was handled very quickly. Very little wait time for being seen, having an X-ray, speaking with the doctor and having a different brace put on. Dr Kittredge was very concise and clearly answered all our questions. As a retired practice administrator for a multi provider practice I was very impressed.

They are really nice people and the doctors I saw were patience and understanding. The whole team is wonderful.

Dr. Kittredge is not one for “chit chat.” He gets right to the point. He answered all of my questions after a thorough examination.

The Dogs and staff treated me like family. The wait time for the doctor was not long at all. This was a follow up from a previous visit so he quickly diagnosed my problem and prescribed medication.

After a fall, I could not be more grateful for timely (same day I called), efficient (appt’ts are on time and only take as long as is necessary - which is fabulous) and expert care. Dr. Kittredge’s experience is evident in the expert way he is able to assess and treat patients with precision.
