Dr. Benedetto Anthony Iacovelli, MD

Dr. Iacovelli is a wonderful doctor with decades of experience. He very promptly and accurately diagnosed my issues, answered all my questions and concerns and was very kind and empathetic the entire time. Great healthcare and lovely doctor!

Dr. Iacovelli was the best ER doctor I've ever encountered. When I brought my son in, he immediately knew what was wrong. Dr. Iacovelli was very calm, kind and knowledgeable. He explained what was going on in a clear and thorough manner. He listened and readily answered any and all of my questions. I was extremely pleased with his service.

I went to the ER in Sylva NC for kidney stones, he asked me what other issues I had and I said I have a second brain tumor, he immediately was rude saying you don't have a brain tumor, I saw where you have a meningioma, that's just something small taking up space in your head and that's it, now a brain tumor is what my dad just died from, brain cancer! That's something to worry about, not a meningioma . I was floored! I've already had one craniotomy and it was awful, this man has no right being a Dr treating patients until he gets counseling to learn how to deal w his dads death.

went to the er, 11pm had severe back pain, couldnot walk or stand did xray, got berated by this doc saying you have DJD in 3 disc in your back what do you expect, gave me 15 Norco , did not sign script , had to go back after I tried to fill at CVS, and they acted like I was trying to get med illegally, went back to ER got signed, have use 5 of them, and no more he accused me of being a pain clinic patient because of an allergy to Duramorph, spinal aneth. for cessarian, he said they give it patients in pain clinics, he was very cold and accusing, next day went to my fam doc, had severe UTI, now on 2nd ABT tx.
