I have nothing but positive feelings about Dr. Anderson. She is a smart, non-judgmental & professional psychiatrist. She has helped me greatly, and in turn helped others in my family deal with some difficult mental/emotional stresses. She has thorough knowledge of medications, while at the being a kind, compassionate & caring therapist. I'm so glad that I got her name from my doctor. I would highly recommend her.

Horrible experience. Please do your homework and find a good therapist. This woman is cold and incompetent. What did this doctor do you might ask? The answer is NOTHING.(aside from drain people of their money and waste their precious time) She sits in a chair and stares off into space. There isn't any kind of treatment and virtually no humane interaction besides whispers of "uh huh" or "yeah" What kind of treatment is that?? She is a real quack and an expensive one. With luck, she will retire soon so she won't have the chance to damage anyone else wasting their precious time and money.

I cannot say enough about the professionalism and kindness and intelligence of Dr. Benita Anderson. She has saved me many times when I was desperate to find comfort and understanding. Anyone who gives her any rating other than the full four stars is at fault for not sharing responsibility for their wellness. It is really a denial to blame a therapist for failure to find resolution to one's problems. That person just wants the professional to solve everything while he/she sits back and plays the blame game. Dr. Anderson is a wonderful person, hard working and dedicated. I am blessed to have her in my life.

There isn't any real clinical intervention or true treatment modalities employed by Benita Anderson. She is very detached and has little to nothing to say making a session with her seem like a complete waste of time and money. At the time that I saw her, she had some counter-transference reactions towards me which really would indicate that she needed to be doing some intensive psychotherapy for herself. An incapapble doctor--I strongly suggest going to a better physician. They do exist--just not with this one.
