Dr. Benjamin Beryl Barden, MD

Dr. Ben Barden is a wonderful doctor...extremely knowledgeable and empathetic. He is now with Peachtree orthopedics, the very best practice around. I was delighted to see him this morning and look forward to the best of care.

My son managed to tear up his shoulder falling off a ladder. Thank goodness we picked Dr. Barden to fix his torn labrum! Both he and his staff are friendly and highly professional. I really appreciated the level of detail he shared, explaining exactly what and why needed to be done, why surgery was necessary, and answering any and all questions. The surgery he performed was successful, and his post op availability was great. At each stage of the post op healing process, he was checking on my son's progress, and provide what needed to be done in terms of exercise physical therapy to insure a successful conclusion. AND THEN...just shy of two years after the successful surgery, he went above and beyond AGAIN, making himself available to write a full medical detailed medical report after a formal evaluation for my son we need to submit for part of the approval process for a college scholarship. I am very grateful Dr. Barden was our medical professional conducting this whole procedure,… start to finish.

Re-posting review after noting I should have given 5 stars. I was fortunate to have Dr. Barden attend to me after a nasty fall while running. Turns out I had suffered a bimalleolar ankle fracture and bilateral patellar tendon ruptures. He came in to the ER and explained his plan for surgical repair. He was honest and straightforward yet compassionate and even funny. I am two weeks since the accident now and feel really blessed to be under his care. He and his staff continue to amaze me with their competence, professionalism and good humor. Thank you!!!

For year would only be treated with Dr. Hammesfahr , but lately he and the office have become terrible, I saw Dr. Barden and I now feel better that I have in years. The other office would just tell me I needed surgery, Dr. Barden and his staff care about the patient and what they want to do. I am thankful we have he in east cobb, I will never return to other office

I have been seeing Dr. Barden for my knee issues. He is friendly, funny, and extremely knowledgeable. I've been happy with the treatment plan that he has prescribed. Will miss him when he relocates to GA. GREAT DOCTOR!!!

Dr. Barden is a great individual. He is most definitely honest,respectful,and a great orthopedic surgeon. He makes you feel safe. I definitely had doubts and was scared when I tore every ligaments in my knee. I'm only 23 and that was a worse injury than Lattimore the football player at University of South Carolina .However, I thrived and when I was able to walk for the first time in months I cried and thanked him. Throughout my recover process if it wasn't for him and God I do not know where I would have been. Please support Dr. Barden with his new location in Georgia at Northside Hospital. Google him and make the trip you won't regret it .

Over the past year I've seen Dr. Barden on several occasions to discuss and exercise every option in treating my knees. He's extremely thorough, clear and concise in his explanations and treats his patients with the utmost respect. He's very professional and has a great bedside manner. I would recommend anyone to him as he truly has his patients best interest and provides several options as course of treatments to further improve his patient's health and well being.

Dr. Barden is an amazing Doctor he acts like he cares and shows it. He is Straight forward and honest takes all the time you need to answer questions. Great bedside manner so nice. He told me exactly how my surgery and recovery would go and it was just as he said it would be. I would recommend Dr. Barden to everyone.

He is a truly wonderful caring man and true professional and oh by the way and excellent surgeon. He will answer any question and really feels for the needs of the family as well as the patient. He understands that in order for the patient to heal, the family members must also be informed and comfortable and he goes out of his, above and beyond to do this.

I had arthroscopic surgery at Providence NE hospital. The entire experience was fantastic! I've had some bad hospital experiences and surgeries and this one was the complete opposite. Dr Barden did a great job, kept my family informed and my recovery period has been short. He did a great job!
