Dr. Benjamin N. Blond, MD

my name is Dan,after many visits to Drs,at least about 10,I was finally diagnosed with a Colloid cyst of the third ventricle,after 12 hrs of surgery and a very long recovery,I was feeling much better.The neurosurgeon was able to get most of it,but it had to be checked every year for any changes.In 2001 my wife was offered a job in Fla working for Disney,I was and stopped at a red light and got Z rear ended,what was left of my cyst shifted and caused a brain bleed,the Dr in Orlando did 7 surgeries and put in a VP shunt.I was not aloud to work,so I was told to go to a familiar environment. I did my best to get back to my normal again, I think one of the most difficult thing is to find a Dr that listens to what your feeling. After finding Dr Blonde he was the first Drs to listen to have empathy unlike the other 10 I had been to.The frustration of having Traumatic brain injury and someone who actually not only listens to how you feel,was the hugest weight off of me in years. I guess what… I’m trying to say is Dr Blonde not only listened but had this determination that out of all my past Dr experiences and him taking the time to not only listen,but had this determination that I had never had before. Update after working closely with me and tweaking my meds,I have never felt so good in years.I actually got to drive my car again,but I owe it to him.Thank you so much for your genuine concern,and the first Dr I ever had that picks up the phone.Youve given me my life back,also we’re moving to NC,but I would never go to anybody except Dr Blonde wherever he is.

Dr. Blond has great bedside manner and is a very compassionate and caring Dr. He immediately alleviated all of my concerns and worries that I had about muscle twitches. I was very comfortable with him and he has a great sense of humor! He graduated from Yale University with honors..that's impressive and not an easy task ! Thank You Dr. Blond for a great visit!
