Dr. Benjamin Glenn Kidder JR., MD

The professional, courteous and friendly manner of any and all of the staff was so very much appreciated. Never felt rushed when speaking with Dr. Kidder or anyone on his staff. Would highly recommend him

The first part of my testing went very well. The lovey lady Lauren/Eunice was very personable and compassionate. I did tell her I was anxious about the procedure because other people had told me they hurt. She said the it would be uncomfortable but nothing too awful. She explained what she was doing along the way and she was right – It was uncomfortable, but I was able to get through it just fine. She was key to making the experience what is was. Then Dr Kidder came in. He had me sit up for a minute and used what looks like a tuning fork on my feet and did a little needle pin type thing from my feet to my legs. All that went fine. Then he told me to lay down and said to move my legs when he told me. He didn’t really explain exactly what he was doing but I did try to follow the instructions that he did give. I felt pin pricks from time to time and then he would tell me to move my leg or foot. At times he would tell me to move and I wasn’t sure what he wanted and he said,… “Ma’am Ma’am what are you doing?” I was trying to do what he wanted. For example, he told me to move my foot toward his hand when I had no idea where his hand was (I was laying down and could not see it). At one point he had me move a certain way and I jerked a little because it hurt (Remember needles in my leg and electricity going through it) and he got a bit loud with the “Ma’am Ma’am what are you doing” comment and added “ I don’t want to get stuck by a needle. You are putting me at risk” with a more than perturbed tone about it. My comment back was that I didn’t want to be stuck with a needle either. So, he said to me “Well you made the appointment. What did you think this was going to happen?” Seriously??? I have never had this type of test and did not know for sure what it entailed! He, on the other hand, CHOSE this profession and knows exactly what this test entails (needles) so I believe that is his choice to be “putting himself at risk” of getting stuck with a needle when he is adding electric to it when in a patient. He knows it will hurt and when something hurts there is an automatic reaction to jerk/jump/move. A reflex is something you don’t have a whole lot of control over. I told him he was a Jerk. He said he wasn’t, and I disagreed because there is no reason to “fuss” at the patient for having a reaction to pain. I told him I came to the test because that is what my Dr. ordered and I was following her orders. Believe me, I didn’t WANT to take that test but I need to get to the bottom of what is causing my feet and legs to go numb. I certainly didn’t want to deal with an arrogant insensitive Dr on top of it. I really got the impression that Dr. (and I use that term loosely) Kidder really does not care about his patients but is there for a paycheck. His bedside demeanor was deplorable. No Empathy or compassion from this person that I could see at all. He gave me the option of doing the other leg but I told him they both feel the same so I figured he would get the same result and I preferred not to continue with him. At that point he basically told me his result were all normal and he wanted to do labs and left the room without any further instruction. I got dressed and walked out to the nurse’s station because I was not sure if I was supposed to leave or what. They told me to go back in the room and wait for his instruction. He never returned but sent one of the nurses or office staff in with a piece of paper with s recommendation for lab work to be performed and a follow up appointment in 6 months. I told her I would get with PC regarding this because I won’t be seeing him again. I thanked Lauren/Eunice (they call her Eunice because that is where she is from) for being so kind and she showed me the way out. My problem was not so much the test itself but his arrogance, demeanor/attitude and lack of empathy or compassion. Maybe a comment like “this might hurt but try not to jolt if you can help it” something other than the “MA’AM MA’AM WHAT ARE YOU DOING?” and “You made the appointment, what did you expect was going to happen?”.

This doctor was not interested in hearing or learning about my symptoms. It seemed as if it wasn't a area of interest he was not incline to listen. Absoluting not interested in patients. I would not recommend this physician.

unkind doctor to patients suffering in pain. did a very poor examination of me. with that type of examination he never would have discovered I have Trigemineal Neurologia. He is very neglectful of patients in pain

He is very rude raised his voice at my brother and myself.He got a phone call while in the room and turned around and said he had to go down stairs cause he actually had a patient have a stroke. I would not recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Kidder is a very dedicated professional who works hard to do the best job he can for his patients. I highly recommend him.

Dr Kidder has been a life saver for me. He was able to quickly diagnose my problem which turned out to be a rather rare condition. Actually he did it on the 1st visit. The treatments over the last 2 years have greatly improved my quality of life. Initially taken in the hospital, Dr. Kidder, was there to supervise the administration and was always reassuring and easy to talk to. When I asked questions he was more than happy to not only answer them, but to engage in deeper discussions about my condition. I would highly recommend him.

He is a rude arrogant obnoxious thinks he knows it all. He has being a jerk down pat. He does not know what he is doing. He completely misdiagnosed my husband. Othe doctors have apologized for his behavior as he is a disgrace and embarrassment to the profession. Whatever you do don't see him. He's awful.

Getting an appointment was quick and easy. Dr. Kidder was professional and yet had great a "bedside manner"

This was the worst doctor I have ever seen. I have a rare genetic condition and he simply looked at my chart. saw all my symptoms/history and seemed to immediately write me off. I am accustomed to dealing with professional, highly educated doctors, and if he had presented as such I might have been able to ignore his complete lack of bedside manner, rude questions, and what came across as a snide, insinuating attitude along with seeming disregard for my concerns. He also completely contradicted and disregarded what his own nurses, ER staff, and multiple other specialists had all recommended, and put my own health at risk before he rushed out of the door and off to lunch.
