I had surgery today to redo what Dr Paulson did 6 months ago. He did my surgery on Friday and sent me back to work on Monday. Now i am all bandaged up and cant do anything for 10 days. No wonder surgery didnt work. I want refund. Dont go to him..

Terrible, messed my wrists up and now doesn't want to deal with it. Didn't have active pain before I saw him, just numbness now in the worst pain of my life and he won't even give me a doctors note because he said these aren't typical side effects of these cortisone shots, seems obvious to me he did something wrong but doesn't want to deal with it.

He was an hour late and when I finally got to see him he didn’t listen to a word I said. He kept repeating what he wanted to hear. I felt this visit was a complete waste of my time. I’m not sure if he was rushing me out because I was the last patient for the day, or if he just didn’t want to help.

He discussed everything with me and made me feel better and if I have any questions he said make sure I call him back.

I was treated very well for both of my surgery's, and will recommend Iowa ortho and dr Paulson for any job they need done on their hands.

First of this doctor refused to come down and look at the patients hand while he was at the hospital said all he need was antibiotics. A month later finally got switched doctors new doctor scheduled him for surgery the following Tuesday hand was full of infection and still had something in the finger . If Doctor Paulson would have just fixed it to begin with the hand would already be healed :
