I highly reccomend Dr.Ben to anyone looking for doctor for their children! My boys LOVE him and my husband and I do too. He has great bed side manner. Always upbeat and friendly. We travel 45 minutes to use this practice. It's worth it!

I didn't have to wait long at all, which is a huge plus being a mom of four. But once I was back with my kids in a room with him, I felt rushed and that he really wasn't listening to me. And most of all, I heard him say when we were in the bathroom "we weren't his pacents anyway". Like he really didn't care and just wanted us gone. I really felt looked down on and uncomfortble.

Dr. Ben has been our pediatrician since our first daughter was born in 2004. Our other daughter was born in 2007. He is wonderful with both of them. They actually smile when he enters the room. When she was 2 & 3 years old, our oldest daughter would say "I love Dr. Ben. I will let {youngest daughter} see him too." That is a priceless testimony.I always go prepared with a list of questions. Dr. Ben takes time to discuss each and every one.The office staff is the only shortcoming at Pediatric Associates. Most of the front-office staff is not friendly and refuses to be helpful.

I just love Dr. Ben. He has been there since the day our now 8-month old was born. He was at the hospital every day we were there, so we got to know him a bit before ever going to the office. She's been sick three time, and every time we've gotten an appt. that day. The wait time is very up-and-down. When we've had a scheduled appt its avg. 10 minutes in the waiting room, but for the sick visits we've waited as long as 40 minutes.Dr. Ben is great with her, he spends time with her, makes her laugh, and just has a wonderful "bedside manner." And his nurses are wonderful. They are very caring and wonderful with babies, and seem to genuining worry about how they are feeling during the appt. In short, Dr. Ben and his nurses are very comforting and understanding to first-time parents, and really, what more could you ask?

We've been really impressed with the care that our two children have received from the doctors and nurses at Pediatric Associates of Savannah. Dr. Ben, Dr. Kreh, and Dr. Rubino and the nursing staff have all been helpful and caring. However, I HATE calling the office to ask for an appointment or any other type of administrative question. The people that answer the phone are always rude, seem too busy to help the caller, and are extremely reluctant to divulge any information that may be helpful. When we walked in for our first appt. the office staff was gossiping about something that was totally inappropriate for work and had me wait in line while they finished their conversation. Another time, I called to get my daughter a flu shot and was told that they were out. That's it, no further information--just silence. I had to ask what the office was recommending before I was told "I guess you could go to the health department, (big sigh), or I suppose we could add you to our list." … Like the list is some big secret and I was twisting her arm to have her add my child's name. Also, I tried to make an appointment for my child to get her 2 mo. checkup and first vaccinations only to be told that I couldn't get her in until she was 5 mos. old. It was suggested that I could just keep calling back to see if there were cancellations. Huh? How about creating a call back list and the office can call me when there is an opening? Luckily I called back the next day and got someone on the phone that had an ounce of common sense and courtesy, and was able to get me in at another location so my child could get her shots on time. If you can put up with the hassle, the doctors and the nurses are good. Otherwise, go somewhere else if you want decent customer service (or make sure that you make all check-up appointments at the desk before you leave.)

He is the best!

I am a working Mom and Dr. Ben was not my child's regular doctor when she had to see him during a very sick appt. He questioned why I had her in daycare and asked what my husband and I did for a living and why I couldn't stay home with her. I was very offended. However, he did diagnose her and we were out of there, but I felt uncomfortable with the whole thing.
