Dr. Benjamin C. Warf, MD

Dr. Benjamin C. Warf is a world-renowned pediatric neurosurgeon at Boston Children’s Hospital, where he serves as Director of Neonatal and Congenital Anomaly Neurosurgery and holds the Hydrocephalus and Spina Bifida Chair at Harvard Medical School. He specializes in treating hydrocephalus, spina bifida, tethered spinal cord, and other complex congenital neurological conditions in infants and children. Dr. Warf earned his medical degree from Harvard Medical School and completed his neurosurgical residency at Case Western Reserve University, followed by the first pediatric neurosurgery fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital. Internationally recognized for his humanitarian and clinical innovations, he pioneered a minimally invasive treatment for infant hydrocephalus known as the ETV/CPC procedure while working in Uganda, dramatically improving access to care in low-resource settings worldwide.
