10 years after an initial procedure by Dr. Chiles and being told I would probably need a fusion in the future, the pain in my back and numbness in my leg was getting really bad, but the first procedure was done so well it exceeded expectations on how long it lasted. Dr. Chiles was very thorough, explaining everything around my double lumbar fusion, time for recovery, therapy, and what to expect for the future. Dr Chiles and the hospital kept my family updated during the whole procedure. Once again amazing results after having a surgery done by him. Two hours after waking up I was able to start walking around with some help from the physical therapists, amazing after a procedure like this in my opinion from what I've read. Hospital stay was supposed to be four nights, but I felt so good after the procedure I was able to go home after two. It's almost 6 months later and after following all of his guidelines I am basically back to doing all my normal day to day activities with no pain.

When I met Dr. Chiles for the first time, he exuded the confidence that only a surgeon of his caliber could. He looked at my MRI and explained to me right away that I had a tumor in my spine that needed to be removed. He calmly explained that the tumor was most likely benign and that it was definitely causing the discomfort that I was experiencing. He walked me through the entire process, from additional MRIs, to the surgery itself, and then the expected recovery. He presented a timeline I should be prepared for before I could return to some of my favorite activities: running and playing basketball. His experience and expertise guided me through this entire four-month period. Knowing that if I followed his instructions, I would be back exercising and feeling strong. I highly recommend Dr. Chiles and his team. Every office visit was pleasant. Every question, whether by email or phone call, was answered in a short time. After coming to his office with a benign tumor, through the surgery… and recovery, my experience with Dr. Chiles was as good as it could possibly be. Thank you Dr. Chiles!

I cannot recall the last time (if ever) that I left online feedback or a review for any product or service. This experience warrants it. I am an older martial artist with an active lifestyle. I met with Dr. Bennie Chiles after months of excruciating and debilitating back and groin pain. I was at the end of my rope. Dr. Chiles met with me, gave me practical advice, and jumped through hoops to navigate my "emergency" need, accompanying health issues that needed to be considered, and all parties' schedules. His staff was proactive and made the process as easy as possible. Dr. Chiles's surgery on my spine resulted in me going from being unable to stand or walk for more than several seconds without pain to a full return to fitness and martial arts. I am forever grateful and recommend Dr. Chiles without reservation.

Awesome surgeon who is empathetic, authentic and sincere.

I had back pain for many years. It got worse and it affected my walking. I was told by another doctor that I would need surgery based on the findings of an MRI. I was scared and reluctant to have surgery. I decided to seek a second opinion and made an appointment with Dr Chiles. He ordered a new MRI and the findings were the same. I had spinal stenosis which was so bad that I needed surgery to correct it or live with it and live with excruciating pain the rest of my life. Dr Chiles was very patient and he explained in detail my spinal stenosis, surgery and, possible complications. He also assured me that I would be able to walk after surgery. I was very scared but he reassured me. I was very pleased to move forward with surgery. Dr Chiles and his team were there for me before, during, and after surgery. They truly exhibited professionalism in their work and the surgery has been very successful. It’s been two months and my healing has been very rapid and I am walking well with no… pain. Dr Chiles knows his job and his work ethic is second to none. He is very caring and compassionate. His staff is amazing as well. Jessica and Sara are very nice and pleasant. I highly recommend Dr Chiles to anyone who finds themselves in need of a top spinal surgery. Thank you Dr Chiles!!

I'd been taken care of by the best doctor and staff at Westchester and would recommend doctor Chile's to anyone that needs surgery.

Dr. Chiles is an amazing surgeon. I had a laminectomy done 2 years ago by a different surgeon which did not help my overall issue. Dr. Chiles performed a one level fusion of the L4/L5 and I am very pleased with my lesser degree of pain and a much quicker recovery. I would recommend him and his staff to anyone having spinal issues.
