I am so excited to share my experiences with Dr. Markowitz. I knew about his work prior to meeting him, as my girlfriend had gone to Dr. Markowitz for a lower face lift and her eyes. She looked so natural and beautiful. When I finally met Dr. Markowitz, he was so kind, honest patient, and very generous with his time. I knew I was in great hands. I did my lower face lift, eyes and dermabrasion. I am beyond pleased with my results-- so natural. I look like me but better! The staff in the office are amazing. I am the luckiest person to have known Dr. Markowitz for the last 25 years. As a person, as a friend and as a doctor. He couldn't be more professional, respectful and in a lifetime if you know him, your life is complete. I'm a professional in the motion picture business for the last 53 years. I feel very comfortable to recommend him, for not only enhancing one's self esteem, but any reconstruction surgery anyone would need in regards to an accident or a medical disfigurement. After five consultations with Beverly Hills surgeons, I was still hesitant about moving forward with my facelift. My final consultation was with Dr. Markowitz and as the saying goes “I saved the best for last”.Dr. Markowitz brought details and creative solutions to my attention that every other surgeon had missed. I scheduled my surgery immediately after my first consultation with Dr. Markowitz. During the virtual consultation, he was thoughtful, observant, patient, and a careful listener. He agreed with part of what I wanted to do, said “no” or “not yet” to a few other things and provided clear explanations for his answers. In my pre-surgical office visit, he was the same. His passion and high expectations for his work shines through. He is a perfectionist and demands the same of his team. It takes a superior leader to build an outstanding team - exactly what Dr. Markowitz has done. The team is composed of high caliber & dedicated professionals who take pride in the outcome of their work and truly care about the patient. When I made a positive comment to any individual, each one said, “Well, it’s not me – we have a good team.” Dr. M’s surgical coordinator/office manager, Antonia Davis, was helpful, kind, organized and fun. She returned phone calls promptly and worked diligently to… assist in my pre-travel planning (I live out-of-state). Catherine Rogers, nursing manager/operating room nurse, was calm, happy, and always had everything under control. Dr. Mark Rothman, the anesthesiologist, called the evening prior to surgery to answer any questions. He was upbeat and ready to get started that morning, which gave me confidence. Lynn Carter (Dr. Markowitz’s aftercare nurse) is thoughtful, compassionate, really on top of her game, and has a great sense of humor. Additionally, she provided detailed video instructions for my post-op home care to my care givers and was available 24/7 to answer questions and deal with concerns. I am delighted with the surgical outcome and I strongly recommend Dr. Markowitz. He insists on follow-up visits after surgery - I have never known a surgeon to remove stitches. His work is amazing – I look better, rested, and not pulled. There is no question where I will go for any future procedures. Thank you, Dr. Markowitz, and team!

Let me start this by saying my husband is a physician in Beverly Hills. I follow several Instagram accounts, and I can honestly say that some of the most popular social presences are not commensurate with their work. I'm 62 and was tired of looking so tired and haggard when I looked in the mirror. Makeup no longer helped cover my age up. I asked my husband for advice in finding a plastic surgeon. We both know that some of the most famous reputations have had some big mistakes, and their social presence isn't necessarily accurate. Anesthesiologists see everything during surgeries. My husband asked around, and Dr. Markowitz's name came up as being the most committed to detail with fastidious elegant work and results. He is truly an artist. If you looked for scars with a magnifying glass, you would not see mine. I'm so grateful to him. I look fresh, a little more feminine and soft. I look like I feel when I play with my grandchildren.

Seamless (pun fully intended) This extraordinary surgeon left me astonished with the results. That one could leave the surgical room looking natural (no bruising for me whatsoever) has been left me completely mesmerized that such talent exists.

I have had 2 facelifts & my upper eyelids done once by Dr. Markowitz. I recommend him highly & would not trust my face with any other surgeon. The results are consistently flawless with a very natural appearance. No one will know you’ve had work done....you’ll just look many years younger & feel 100% better about what you see in the mirror. In addition to his expertise, he is kind & personable. It is my opinion that it would be a mistake to choose any other surgeon when you have the best as an option.

A few years ago, a very good friend of mine went to Dr. Markowitz for an array of cosmetic surgery. The results were amazing. I was concerned as were others that the outcome would have made her look, well..plastic. Nothing could be further from the truth, she looked 10-15 years younger and had a vibrant, refreshed yet very natural look about her. I swore then that if I ever felt I wanted to do anything for myself that I would talk with Dr. Markowitz and that is just what I ended up doing. From the first few minutes of my consultation I knew that he had my best interest at heart, there was certainly no need for me to even get a second opinion. I scheduled a surgery right there and then and have never, not even for one moment regretted my choice, as a matter of fact I can safely say that Dr. Markowitz well exceeded any and all expectations I had about the process and outcome. My results look great and I am still in the healing process so even better results to come. Dr. Markowitz… surrounds himself with a like-minded professional and friendly staff. Dr. Markowitz is not only an extremely skilled surgeon he is also kind, understanding and very patient. There was never a feeling that I was being rushed, quite the contrary, all my questions were answered in a way that only a well experienced surgeon could. In the end, you just “kind of know” when you are in expert hands.

I recently had a breast reduction with Dr. Markowitz. I am over 60, I was a 36 C (which is the RESULT size many breast reduction patients dream about), and not a huge fan of voluntary surgery to quiet my own irrational vanity. I was always a 34 A (B post children) until my late 50’s when things started to shift and change even though my weight and work out schedule remained stable. Because My breasts were always so small, easy and wireless, this sudden shift was bothersome. I now had to struggle with bigger more supportive bras, my clothes weren’t the easy fit of the past and I constantly wanted to wear tight sports bras to flatten myself out. Plus they felt heavy and too low. I did not like any of it. I’m incredibly active and they were in the way. I thought (and then was told by my gynecologist) that this would most likely get worse... breasts growing in the wrong direction at this stage of life? No thank you. So, through the recommendation of a friend, I found Dr. Markowitz. I… can’t even articulate how my struggle to allow myself this change calmed and became much more focused after my first meeting with him and the fabulous Antonia who followed up answering all my questions over several weeks. It was a leap of faith (as cosmetic surgeries always are), but mine felt more so because ALL of the before/after photos in the office were of large, misshapen and/or sagging breasts that transformed into breasts similar to mine BEFORE I had surgery! Dr Markowitz is a talented artist. A sculptor of bodies. He understood what I wanted, he was honest about what to expect, what he could do, what was right for my body, etc., without “selling” me on anything or making light of the actual procedure. His staff are kind and meticulous both in the office and surgical center. His scrub nurse and anesthesiologist are TOP NOTCH and so incredibly kind. I was not nervous. I felt in the best of hands. The recovery for one night at Serenity was just that.... serene. The result is brilliant. I followed all directions post surgery to the T and couldn’t be happier. I’m not gonna lie, it’s a thing having a 5 hour surgery in terms of aftermath. Exhaustion, surprisingly medium (not bad!) pain... There’s an absolute need to shut down and rest for at least 10 days to 2 weeks to shake off the effects from anesthesia, swelling, etc. I was out and about a few weeks later, and after a month, depending how you feel, life resumes. Thank you Dr. Markowitz for changing my life and taking that very real worry and annoyance off my plate. Plus, I feel so much lighter! You are now one of my earth angels for real.
