Dr. Bernard James Munro, MD

Fantastic doctor. Absolutely love him and will continue to be a patient of his. Been with me through 4 pregnancy's.

I've been a patient of Dr. Munro for 17 years. He delivered 4 of my 5 (not my oldest), and performed my hysterectomy. He's a great doc with a wonderful bedside manner. He really cares about his patients.

Went in for a cervix biopsy because of an abnormal Pap smear. He didn’t ask for my permission before allowing some med students in. Asked me to scoot towards the end of the table and when I tried he grabbed part of my butt to scoot me closer. While in the middle of the procedure he made comments to the med students which made me feel Ike I was a animal on display. He made “joking” comments about how men aren’t good and how I should stay away from them and how they can’t be trusted, “not even my boyfriend since we aren’t married and such”. Throughout the whole process he made everything a joking matter and kept saying, “I didn’t hurt you that bad did I?” Towards the end of the appointment he told me about the bleeding that I would have and it would be probably best if I stayed away from my boyfriend for a few days. Overall he made me super uncomfortable and wasn’t a great first experience. And then before I left in tears he said, “I didn’t hurt you too bad did i?”

Dr Bernard needs empathy classes. Even with that in place he still should have his liscence tooken away

Dr. Munro has only been kind, thorough and a great health advocate for me. He spends as much time with me as I need, answers all my questions. He’s a smart guy. Probably not everyone’s cup of tea, but I am happy he is my Doc!

Dr. was super rude he Yelled at one nurse while wife was giving birth. My wife was about to push and he just rolled his eyes and looked the other way while he slowly put on gear. Would not recommend this doctor to any new moms. Also during appts he was just in a hurry to get up and leave he did not take the time to listen to my wife. But other staff in office were nice and helpful.

I have been a patient of Dr. Munro's for 10 years and three babies. My husband and I were pleased with the care received and the connection we made with him and the rest of the staff. We are returning for our fifth child and I am excited to see our friends again!

Best Obgy I have ever met

I have been seeing Barney for over 5 years and have gone to him for each of my 3 pregnancies. He is the most down to earth doctor, and always makes me feel comfortable in his office! His bedside manner is superb, he is relatable, energetic, and shows concern and emotion for his patients. I trust and recommend Dr. Munro for all of your OB-GYN needs.

If you want a doctor that is rude, impatient, unprofessional, does not listen to your concerns or answer your questions and is just in a hurry to get to his next patient, then you have found your guy. There are too many doctors to put up with this kind of treatment.
