I was referred to Dr. Fernandez by my primary doctor. I expected to get a expert in vascular medicine. My doctor spoke highly of Dr. F but after being a patient of his for over 6 months I changed doctors. The Cleveland hospital in Weston is very modern and nice but the vascular team is small and not very good.

I wasted several visits with him because he did nothing for my aching legs. My husband goes to the head urologist Dr. Hakim and he directed us towards Dr. King because he does the surgery and Dr. Fernandez is the business guy. Dr. King thought surgery was the course and now I am 70% better. If you want help then skip this guy and go to Dr. King.

I am not sure if this Doctor is trained in the States and he smiles a lot. He does not seem to be truly interested.

I heard from someone about the "experts" at Cleveland Clinic Florida and they do lots of flashy ads so I got an appointment with Dr. Fernandez. Why anyone would rate him A+ is a joke. He probably had one of his staff submit that assessment because he is listed as the CEO. He ordered lots of tests,and never really explained the results well or what could be done to help me. He was trying to be funny but I didnt think he was funny or appropriate. I have a medical problem and i was looking for help. Thank goodness I found help at Baptist in Miami, they are a much more professional and seem to know what they are doing. Apart from being much more efficient in getting studies done. Try Baptist if you have a vascular problem, they have a much better reputation and doctors seem to know more than Dr.Fernandez...D- in my book

I went to the cleveland clinic because I wanted an expert for my lymphedema. He told me he was not an expert in this particular field and that he was happy that he was CEO so he could take care of money matters. He hopefully is more comfortable as an administrator because he did not seem to enjoy seeing patients (at least this one). My friend advised me to come here but I would not advise anyone with lymphedema to come to this clinic.

This doctor is NOT a cardiologist. He does not take the time to do a proper history and is typing on his computer instead of talking to a patient and giving a good physical exam. All he talked about was golf. He is not my idea of a good doctor. Check his credentials because I wish I did.

Dr. seemed more interested in rushing me out of the clinic and did not even maintain eye contact when interviewing. Did not seem thorough.
