Dr. Beth Mindy Leventhal, MD

Dr Fromkin has been my doctor for over 11 years. She has seen me through kidney failure and through transplant. She is professional, knowledgeable, and empathetic. I could not recommend her more highly.

My first appointment with this doctor lasted over 3 hours. I waited 2 and a half hours to see her. I had recently had surgery on my leg and I sat in the wheelchair for all of that time. No one said if she had an emergency, we just sat there. When we actually saw her she rambled on and on with no clear diagnosis or what may be wrong. She gave us 2 prescriptions for lab work. The first one to do in a week, was okay, however the second one, had diagnosis codes that were 10 years old. My daughter had to take several days off from work just to accommodate the doctors requests. After going to the lab and being told the code she actually hand wrote on the script was wrong, and we couldn't do the test. We had to wait until Monday to get another script. The new script was emailed by Jessica, but when taken a second time to the lab, this new script had NO diagnosis codes. The lab understood the situation and accommodated me by using another script from before. After meeting her, my appointment… experience lasted over 3 hours - 10 minutes were spent actually with her, and 4 lab appointments that should have been 2. Her available appointments are also limited. Her last appointment at any Memorial location is 12PM. She has no later appointments. To make this appointment, my daughter has had to take off entire days from work because if we had an early appointment, we did not leave until after 2PM, and if we took a 12PM appointment, I did not leave until almost 3PM. The second follow-up appointment was made for 12PM. We were not showed into the treatment room until after 1PM, and the doctor did not show up until close to 2PM. She apologized but her apology just sounded like it was apart of her daily routine. She is uncaring for her patients and clearly is only thinking of the dollar line. I am 74 years old, cannot walk, cancer patient, and had to wait for almost 3 hours average for her to speak to me for 10 minutes. When the bill came, I was charged for a 30-60 minute appointment. This is fraudulent to Medicare. If I could choose less than a 1 for her review, I would.

Dr. Fromkim to me was an angel send . She is the kind of doctor that you can not find anymore, kind, gentle, professional, understanting, humble, can not say enough about her, most amazing person i ever met, and believe me i have met a lot of doctors thru my illness. There should be more doctor like her this world would be a better place Thank u Dr. Fromkim , you took care of me like no other.

I had end stage renal disease and was on dialysis for several. Dr. Fromkin and her team worked with us to keep my healthy enough to be listed for transplant which I received. She continues to monitor my progress and takes person interest in my wellness and those of her other patients. I literally her my life to her knowledge and care.

Throrough, meticulous,detailed. Photographic memory. Excellent education.Treats each patient as an individual. Possesses detailed knowledge of each of the many different medications for controlling hypertension. I have been her patient since 2007. No comparion to family doctors who lack her specialized knowledge.

It was an excelent visit. Dr. Frumkin is dynamic and kind; she gives you all the time you need. She really inspires confidence.
