Dr. Betty C Soliven, MD

Dr Soliven is not who you should go see if you’re fighting a serious neuromuscular disease. She was my third “ALS specialist” and basically piggybacked her opinion off the previous 2 ALS specialist opinions, who ignored all the physical evidence to diagnose the disease, and then she sent a formal letter saying there’s nothing she can do and best of luck. She relinquished me from her care. I’ve read a lot about how these high profile and probably overpaid class of neurologists put their opinion and what they think serious neuromuscular disease should look like above the data, process, and patient. This is called medical negligence and is a form of serious medical malpractice that’s being ignored in America. If I could give Dr Soliven 0 stars I would, for the lack of independent opinion, patient discrimination, and not giving a crap about someone who’s struggling likely with a terminal illness. Awful.
