She was thorough, compassionate and competent

My first visit I waited for two hours just in the waiting room not counting the 1/2 hour in the room. Then when I started explaining why I was not feeling well, she told me all Americans complain that they're fat and tired. She ordered tons of tests and then four weeks later discovered I had hashimotos disease. She put me on mess and asked me to come back in four weeks. After I went back she refused to see me unless I paid my bill in full. Since I did not, she said she would need to discharge me as a patient. Now I have thirty days to find a doctor so I don't run out of mess and she was no where near done treating me. She is a TERRIBLE Doctor. I will be trying to find someone that I can file a more formal complaint with!

I love Dr.S!!!! By far she has been very kind and understanding to both my husband and I. I hate the fact that she is no longer in network with my ins and now I have to look for a new Indo. I highly recommend Dr. S to all. I also love the staff GREAT GREAT ladies that make a great team at Dr. S office. I will most definitely miss seeing you guys every 6 mths. If i could i would give 10 stars!!!!!

I have been seeing her for years. She is always caring & takes her time. Of course the wait time at an appointment is usually long, but she never rushes through a visit .

She was very condescending. Laughing at me when I explained to her what was going on with me. Got angry at me when I suggested that I felt I was having Thyroid issues. Wouldn't explain why she ordered the very expensive tests that she did. I will not be seeing her again.

She was the first diabetes specialist that cared about my life style diet and carbohydrate exchanges. She spent the time needed to educate me to control my sugar. She is a god sent

While in hospital, Dr. S was asked to consult due to diabetes issues. I did follow through with her. However, after 2 appointments, I realized that no matter what I relayed about being a lapband patient- she was still trying to suggest a diabetes diet of foods that I could not eat. Lapband people should not eat oatmeal, fruit, certain vegetables- and each time, she would give me a diet of these foods. And she reduced insulin to match this diet. My lapband doctor suggested that I go back to my primary care doctor for diabetes care. Why? In the time span that I saw Dr. S, my sugar levels were well into the 2-300's on a daily basis. I was not getting enough insulin and I was still following the lapband diet.

Dr Sivarajan is the most, compassionate, caring physician I have ever seen. She exhibited more concern for my well being when my blood pressure was dangerously high during and unrelated visit to her office. I only wish I could say the same for the nurse, office staff and physician who was filling in for my cardiologist who was on vacation. Their only concern was to cover up for their rude behavior and total incompetence. Thank you again Dr. Sivarajan for being there and all you did for me.

after 2 years of seeing this doctor she would NOT answer my questions regarding my disease...I had to learn from a dermatologist.
