Dr. Bheema Sankar Singu, MD

After almost a year of telling this man that the medication he prescribed for GERD was NOT working, I saw a specialist in Orlando, who had me undergo a series of investigative tests. Turns out I do NOT even have GERD but another condition that is responding quite well to the correct procedures and medications my new doctor prescribed. If Dr. Singu had bothered to do something other than an EGD, the results of which were incorrect, I could have been much healthier far sooner. Don't waste your time with this man.

Doctor Singu has been the best GI doctor. Every time I have seen him he has explained issues...not hurried and has always given me the feeling and confidence in him that he is s Very Competent! Wouldn't want anybody else other than him to be my GI Doctor. I have been under his care for 6 years now. Best experience I have ever had as a patient having an EGD and/or Colonoscopy was by him and his staff at Surgery Center of Mid Florida.

I meet Dr.Singu in Ocala Health Hospital .I have a very strong past medical of cancer . was in the Hospital because stomach pain . well Dr.Singu told me that he did not think my past medical history was real and he had a lot more important patient to take care of it them me . I was definably shock the way he talk to me . I guess this Dr. does not have any respect and compaction for female . I will never put my life in this dr.hands. His attitude for women , is really nasty . Be aware / Be careful

I've read all the reviews and I wish I found this page before I scheduled a procedure with him. Yes his office staff is slow. Slow to answer phones and return messages. During my procedure the doctor had zero bedside manner, he did not even bother with a simple or short meet and greet before the procedure began. I only time I saw him was after the procedure had been performed when he walked up and mumbled something about a follow up at his office, all while the fog of anesthesia was wearing off. I feel he probably over book on the day of my procedure since I was made to wait one and a half hours past my schedule appointment time for him to even start my procedure, at procedure that took roughly 30 minutes. I find this all to be very unprofessional.

I had Tammy the office clerk mess up my paperwork multiple times. From telling me I have no insurance because SHE misspelled my name to my insurance was out of network and I would have wait for them to clear my endoscopy. My husband had to spend an entire morning in the phone with our insurance company while driving a semi in morning traffic only to find out TAMMY had typed in the wrong numbers. This office is flagged by the insurance company to be double checked sometimes tripled because of constant flow of wrong insurance number and issues. My daughter now has been waiting over a month for her referral from shands to come yet I just spoke with them this morning and guess what? THEY NEVER GOT THE REFERRAL! I am beyond livid and all I can say is if you want the problems take them on if you want to have to do their job because they aren’t inadequate go ahead. Singu is alright but he is not worth what you have to go through with his staff to get to him.

Dr. Singh was a nice enough doctor but his staff was extremely rude. He recommended a procedure and when I later explained to the staff that I could not find a facility to meet my specific needs, I was laughed at and talked down to. I have filed a formal grievance and intend to follow up on this.

How many doctors do you know that you look forward to seeing? Dr. Singhu is one such doctor! It's rare to find a physician who takes the time to know his patient as well as take the time to explain to us what he is doing, why he is doing it and lets you ask all of the questions you need to ask. His staff, both front end and back office personel are also first rate. HIs nurse, Miss Cheyenne is an unusually competent and perceptive practitioner. Ten stars all around.

Dr singu is ok, but his office cant/wont answer phones, will take time sending your RX to drug store, after 11days of emails /calls unanswered, /returned still no RX sent, they did call and say they didn't have enough help, WOW 11days 1 rx to e scrip couldn't get it done, this is not a strick drug,, it's for stomach issues , tum's type RX guessssss , never , never I will go to another DR

I wonder how he got medicine degree. Very bad doctor.
