Dr. Bikram Verma, MD

The last time I had an appointment with Dr Verma he acted like I was bothering him and asked why I didn’t make an appointment with his PA. I guess he forgot that he told a scheduler that I needed an appt with him. I have been going here for many years and the last couple of years the practice has changed and not for the better. The admin staff are helpful and friendly. I’m most likely going to see a different Dr. one that doesn’t give me anxiety.

I would give a zero star rating if I could but it is not an option. I have never met a ruder physician in my life and I was a nurse for 35 years! He spoke to me and my sister like we were dirt under his feet. He yelled and slammed the desk with his fist multiple times when we were trying to get results of a biopsy. He never gave us the results of the testing and we left feeling abused and insulted with no idea what was going on. Luckily we got a second opinion and are on the right path to treatment. I would never recommend him to anyone. No person should ever be talked to in the way he spoke to me and my sister.

Dr Verma and staff at Digestive Specialists are wonderful. Dr Verma is personable, very experienced in his specialty, and he is kind as well. The staff at the Center are professional and make you feel very comfortable. I highly recommend Dr Verma and Digestive Specialists.

I requested to be moved to a WOMAN Doctor and instead of complying with my request, MR. VERMA & DIGESTIVE SPECIALIST INC.. Springboro oh. TERMINATED MY CARE ALL TOGETHER.. then told me to contact my family doctor for ANOTHER REFERRAL TO ANOTHER GASTRO GROUP!!! I WILL be speaking to my attorney regarding this AND other issues related to their office procedures.

Efficient and professional process for colonoscopy of Dr. Verma and the staff at Digestive Specialists (Sugarcreek location). Provided easy to understand directions for prep, the day of procedure went very well - ran on time, felt safe (COVID precautions), and would recommend.

Had my first colonoscopy with Digestive Specialists this morning. Doctor Verma made me feel at ease and welcome. He explained everything to me and ask if I had any questions. I fell very comfortable in his hands. I can not praise the entire staff at DS more. Everyone from entrance to leaving was very kind, friendly, and concerned for my wellbeing. Will definitely return to see Doctor Verma in 3 years.

I've been seeing Dr Verma over the last 15 years for colonoscopies and other procedures. The latest was a hemorrhoid banding. Dr Verma is very competent and patient. He always has a friendly manner and takes the time to talk to you.

VERY knowlegeable and thorough. He has a great bedside manner--really cares about his patients. I definitely recommend him. His staff is also top notch.

The ease of getting in to see him is good, however, his medical assistant is not very efficient and scheduled my colonoscopy and endoscopy in two different trips, so I had to prep for two different procedures, be given anesthetic 2 times, and pay 2 co-pays. I think it was all about the money. Plus the last time I had an endoscope (last summer because I was in SEVERE stomach pain) his words to me were "Don't call us we'll call you if there are any problems". I don't appreciate this approach because it is MY health I'm concerned about. Will NEVER go back.
