Dr. Blair Greenwood, MD

I honestly think Blair Greenwood cares about her patients and wants to help. She is better than most primary care physicians and Internal Medicine doctors in this area, but that is not saying a lot. I would only recommend her for a very simple medical conditions and would absolutely NOT recommend her for anything more complex than a cough . I think her knowledge only goes so far and she relies on blood testing and lab results that are not always accurate. If your medical condition is complex ask her early on for a referral because her knowledge only goes so far. I was also a little alarmed that she gave samples of a drug that is classified as a controlled substance during one of my visits. I researched the drug after having side effects and realised a large percentage of patients had negative reactions to this drug so it is not something that I would be handing out to just anyone as a doctor.

Dr. Greenwood is awesome. Spends plenty of time with me when I see her. Never acts rushed. Sweet woman.

I've been seeing Dr. Greenwood for around 13 years. She has been kind, understanding and knowledgeable. At one time I had SEVERE swelling in my legs and she sent me for tests & blood work. When it came back normal she was a bit stumped. That weekend she called me and said she'd been thinking about me and that she did some research and looked at medicines I was on (from another doctor) and recommended that I taper off because it can cause swelling. After I did this the swelling went down quickly & we found something that could replace it without that side effect. I don't know many doctors that will call a patient because they've been worried about them over the weekend. As to the staff, I'm not sure but I think the nurse mentioned has been replaced and the one I saw last time was nice. The other one was just straightforward and Dr. G can be too but I prefer that and she has never been rude about it.

Dr Greenwood and her staff are absolutely wonderful. She always spends an adequate amount of time with you asking questions and actually listening. She takes the time to explain what her diagnosis is and why and what you need to do in enough detail that you feel comfortable with your visit and treatment plan. Overall, she is the best doctor I've had in my nearly 60 years!

This office is very prompt on getting you in and out of the office. Everyone in the office is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Dr Greenwood .

I was seeing a different Dr for years, then pain became constant and continued for years. So I went to see Dr Greenwood. We worked out a plan that decreased my pain 80%. Dr Greenwood is patient, kind, knowledgable, listens to all the information you say. I refer her to people all the time. Dr Greenwood is the best. Also the staff is great, especially Penny.

I went to Dr. to discuss weight issues and my overall health. She told me to just "watch what you put in my mouth." She also told me that she had two small children AND she worked yet she still found time to run every day. Since I am a SAHM and "don't work" surely I could find time to "get off the couch and excersize." I cried so hard and never went back. Since then, I have found a new Dr. and I have lost over 100 pounds! In your face mean Dr!

My appointment was not on the books (lost). I waited in the waiting room for overt 30 min and in the exam room with a paper sheet for 45 min. I was getting dressed when she came in and by that time I was distressed. I do not have insurance and relayed this to her and that I would only be coming in for the basic exam every 2 to 3 years unless I had a problem. She was professional but I was already not happy to be fair. I went to pay for my visit that was a pap only and office visit $190 and I asked if that included the lab because it was more expensive than my previous doctor and was told yes and that there were no additional charges. 2 weeks later I get a bill for additional office charges of $40 because they forgat to add it on. I explained the issues that I endured and explained this was not appropriate and the charges were waived. 2 more weeks pass and I get a lab bill, I called the Dr Greenwood's office and all they had to say was I was told the wrong thing and it was a separate… charge. (not thier problem)My feeling is that if you do not have good insurance you need not make an appointment unless you have unlimited funds. I did not have a good interaction with her nurse either. She managed to offend me more than once on the phone. I found her to be abrasive and matter of fact and she proceeded to tell me how hard she worked to get insurance (like I didn't). I am self employed and insurance is not affordable as most of us know and I have my own plan of pay as you go but I will not be brow beat or pressed into addtional test if I am not having problems.I recieved a letter stating they do not want me as a patient (like I was going back). I was called to work and was not going to make an appointment but they would not renew my birth control script unless they saw me and they could do that with an office visit for $99 plus any blood work ( no pap) I might need?? So I asked what is the $99 plus for - to get birth control for 8 months until I get back and then pay another $250 on my return. I said NO THANKS! I will make an appointment elsewhere that is for sure. Not a good experience at all. I would not recommend this clinic based on my overall experience with staff.
