Dr. Blanche Fung Liu, MD

I saw Dr Fung Liu at Northwell Manhasset hospital for an issue that, at the time, was undiagnosed and making me very anxious and on edge. She explained everything to me, what she believed it was, performed a procedure (which confirmed what she thought it was), and explained everything further. I’m very grateful to have had her as my doctor and will be following up with her after this most recent scare and for years to come.

Dr. Fung Liu is sensitive and knowledgeable. Puts all her energy in helping me to feel better and have the right tests done.

Dr. Fung Liu is an excellent physician. From the first consult with her, I got the impression that she was not the type to look for problems but could handle them if they came up. Great cheerful bedside manner, great support staff. I highly recommend,

One of the worst experiences with a doctor I ever had. She doesn’t listen to patients and does not care what sort of pain you're in. She also improperly orders excessive and EXPENSIVE tests. She forced me to undergo a test, even though I asked her why it was necessary and thought I probably didn’t need it (I was right!) that cost thousands of dollars and had nothing to do with my diagnosis. Luckily I found a new doctor that actually knew what they were doing and was able to properly diagnose me but going to Dr. Fung-Liu was completely unnecessary and a waste of my time. Seriously think it over before you decide to go to her! There are many other GIs you can go to in the NY area where you wouldn't have to subject yourself to the headache of unnecessary tests and insurance issues.

Professional with an excellent bedside manner! Dr. Fung Liu was terrific and really took her time to explain everything to me. Such a relief to have my colonoscopy and endoscopy done! Great staff, very happy!

Dr. Fung Liu put me at ease at a very difficult time. She is super intelligent, calming and has a really nice demeanor. She went out of her way to fit me into her schedule as a new patient, which I thought was incredible. The office staff also went out of their way to accommodate me, which was greatly appreciated. I recommend Dr. Fung Liu wholeheartedly!

Dr Fong Liu is a very competent and caring doctor in my opinion. She takes all the time needed after exam to go over any and all concerns. My cardiologist cannot say enough good things about her.Her office is welll run and no longer waiting time than usual

She does not spend enough individualized time with you, forgets a lot of your medications and doses, previous procedures, symptoms, phone calls, insurance information, etc. If you get infusions at that office, you almost never see her. She's a nice person and probably very smart, but not attentive for someone who is currently suffering.
