Dr. Robert Ireneusz Wodecki, MD

I was referred to Dr. Wodecki. He ordered 11 ex-rays. Afterwards he reviewed each of them with me and found my issues. Very caring and patient.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Wodecki. He is a great Physician. My mom is a patient at his office. Dr. Wodecki diagnosed my mom with Lupus, after being undiagnosed, extremely sick, and back and forth in the hospital 1 year. On several occasions being in ICU and on the Ventilator at Forsyth and Iredell Memorial Hospital. Out of all the providers she saw within these two hospitals no one could tell us much of anything. Dr. Wodecki saw my mom in the hospital and he knew Immediately! Finally after a year of being deathly sick and almost dying my mom got her life back, under Dr. Wodecki's care. She is on the proper medication regiments and we are so grateful for his expertise and knowledge!

Found out I was anemic! Noone has before. Going back for another full workup as I have gotten worse, HeisBrilliant. Exceptional. Not all about money though he deserves to get paid. He saved my life! Wish there were more like him-especially in Hickory. Marsha Jones

I have been coming to Appalachian Care for about 6 years now. The experience at this center has been wonderful. Every nurse is very nice and helpful and when calls are made and voicemails are sent, they strive to get back to me as soon as possible (within at least 2 to 3 hours) I get a return call. Sooner if it is an emergency. Doctor Robert Wodecki is wonderful with all ages. He provides care needed for myself and my mother. We take trips from Ashe County NC which is about 2 hours away to come see him. There are closer doctors about 45 minutes away but we choose to stick with him due to his care, help and concern in each appointment.

Highly Recommend to anyone who needs a Great Rheumatologist. You may have to wait a while but it's totally worth your time. Wodecki has been my physician for many years. He's helped me with a failed back surgery, bone loss and arthritis. He's kind and caring. It's difficult to find a Dr who's intelligent and actually cares. His PA is just as good! I can't recommend anyone higher. I've had a very difficult time finding a good PCP, Wodecki has remained consistent; A brilliant physician. You won't make a bad choice with Wodecki.

If you have a balance even with insurance they refuse to see you once you drive for 90 mins and take a half day off work. And they claim in the 8 weeks since your initial appointment they have sent out 2 billing statements even though you have not seen a bill. They will be happy to let you know it's not their responsibility or policy to inform you that they will not see you ahead of time.

Have been a patient since 2007, have always been shown only care and concern. I have recommended several friends and they are still seeing him.

I feel like he was really there for me. Listens and try to explains my problem. He knows what he is doing. Shows concerns.

He does listen and everything he thinks is always right. Long wait times and when you can't get your meds filled cause of shortages in pharmacy he has no other options for you!

Over this summer Dr. Wodecki diagnosed & treated me for osteoarthritis in both my knees. I found him to be an outstanding doctor. Compassionate professional and most important brilliant a leader in his field. Dr. Wodecki you are a Godsend!!! You are simply the best!
