Dr. Bonnie Kay Noyes, PhD

I just wanted to thank Dr. Noyes for helping me overcome childhood trauma and work through some major issues I was trying to overcome. My time spent with her was life changing. Since seeing her I am a new person, I truly feel healthy and happy, I keep thinking back, trying to figure out how it happened and at what point did I finally find peace, I’m not sure how it happened, and it’s been a long time since I’ve seen her, at least 3 years now l, but I think of her often and want her to know that my life is so different and I have done things I never imagined I could thanks to her guidance and support.

I had 2 therapists and saw 3 psychiatrists during the time I was at the rock bottom. As someone who was in a major depression (physically I was falling apart too. I would get sick once a month at least) , I felt often discouraged by some health care-less professionals, unfortunately there were plenty of them. But Dr. Bonnie Noyes isn't one of them. What differentiates Dr. Noyes is her compassion. I felt at ease during my sessions, I felt my feelings were validated, and she allowed me some much needed time off. During my time off from work, I was able to focus on my health and well-being, and discovered that I had a tumor in my head, which could have been discovered 2 years sooner. Dr. Noyes was the last mental health professional I saw because despite the tumor, life has changed to the better. I can't contribute it all to Dr Noyes because as a patient you have to try everything to help yourself 1st. But as a patient, I was desperate for a provider who not only can give me some… guidelines (every rational person can do that), someone who can listen to me venting (every licensed therapist can do that), but most importantly someone who shows that compassion that only a caring person possesses. It was until months and months later, Dr. Noyes gently reminded me that I wasn't even paying the full fee - I thought my insurance covered it, so I had only been paying $15 co-pay. I didn't know any other therapists would still care for their patients to that extend like Dr. Noyes. It has been about two years since I saw Dr Noyes or any therapists. But here is my "Thank you very much" to Dr. Noyes from the bottom of my heart!
