I have been a patient for several years. Dr. Pontz listens to his patients and takes the time to treat and educate them. He does not rush you. I have had some emergent problems late in the day, and he has always made himself available for an office visit and to call me me that same day with the results of various urgent tests he sent me out for and a treatment plan. His patients are a priority to him. I trust Dr. Pontz.

I first saw Dr. Pontz in 2007 after I had a stroke. He is a very good doctor and always listens to my questions and/or concerns and responds with information or guidance which is easy for non-medical professional to understand. Whenever I've needed a referral to a specialist, his batting average is 1000! I recommend him highly.

Dr. Pontz is a first rate physician who, besides being very smart, is a great listener, which is critically important in being able to provide top notch medical care. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a board certified internist.

He is not a "20 minute" doctor. He takes the time to explain what the problem is and how he's going to treat it. He was very suspicious about a swollen ankle, but could not find any reason for it to be. To be on the safe side he sent me for a sonogram and a blood clot was found behind my knee. His administrative staff and professional staff are both excellent.
