I would of given a 5 star but his support staff and the hospital are terrible. He is a good surgeon and was able to fix my problem however after the surgery there was no post op care. It was clear to me Corewell was more interested in getting me out of there even though I was having a reaction to the meds I was put on. Clearly profit driven. Dr. Ahlgren office told me to see my primary care and they don't treat that ! Really? That would of been a 2-3 month wait! I figured it out myself and stopped taking the medication. Great Dr. but if you have a problem after the surgery don't plan on them giving you any help.

Couldn't happier with the outcome of my surgery. Dr. Alghren was recommended by a friend and was exceptional.

Dr.Ahlgren professionalisms shows well. He has helped put my life back together after an auto accident. I had to find a new normal. After 3 years of many office visits, surgeries, PT. I have found new meaning for life for me. Any nay sayer about Dr. Ahlgren have decided not to listen or put in the work it takes to make yourself well. He is a Physicain who does want the best for his patients.

Dr. Ahlgen is polite, confident and strong. I would never go to any other Spinal Dr.

Had laminectomy discectomy foraminotomy for l5-s1. When he should have known,I would need a fusion, He did surgery without fusion for the sure sale. Now I am in worse shape from surgery. Several months later i can barely move with strong pain killers(which they abandon you on).Then they tell me I can’t get surgery for approximately 2 years.

Dr. Algren did my back surgery in March 2017 and he did an amazing job and was caring. Refer a lot of friends to him. Love him.

Dr Ahlgren spent 45 mins with me reviewing my MRI and CT scans from another hospital. He recommended a second surgery to correct the previous surgery from another hospital and surgeon.
