Dr. Branden Hsu, MD

As a medical professional when one is hit with the need to see a hemotologist/oncologist. It can be rather unsettling. And to have your primary care Dr send referral and state you need to get in and see Him right away. Of all specialties you would expect compassion , reliability and communication from the practice and staff. This staff is the farthest from that there is. My Dr has called and referred , I have called over 17 times. Left 3 voicemails , and when I called and hit for the operator. Get transferred to voice mail again. Denied there is any kind of office manager. Nothing. And when you call back they have caller ID Zane don’t answer phone. Funny I called back 7 times all to voice mail. Used a friends phone and answered immediately. My Dr was appalled and immediate gave me a reference to another hem/onc specialist whom too information set me all up and I have appt in o e easy 15 minute call. !! It’s a shame , as stated in administration with local hospital system and Dr… Hsu personally has an excellent reputation. The incompetence of his staff and lack of caring and customer service is deplorable. Lost this patient. And unfortunately. Word of mouth goes a long way.

Dr.Hsu is a very kind, caring man. His nurses,who are only in charge of dispensing meds, like chemo, are rushed, impatient and don't like to be questioned. When I asked them to look up my side effects to see whether they were usual or not, they said they could not. The other office staff is friendly but changes frequently.

Referred from primary dr to check on unusual blood work. Dr. Hse (pronounced like "shoe") sat and talked with me for nearly 60 minutes, he asked many, many questions, very patient, rechecking my blood under the microscope, ordering extra tests. This man does not behave like an arrogant physician. He has exceptional bedside manner and his humility is incredible. Such a kind, kind man. I can't say enough about him. Good man.

DR. Usu went above and beyond to help my mother get the treatment she needed. When other Dr.s simply gave up he took time to help us.

Dr. Hsu is a very concerned doctor and doesn't mind giving you his undivided attention. He really shows concern and caring whenever he is with me.
